What are some decent buffets at/near DHS? We are headed to WDW in January and my parents only like to eat at buffets. We are only spending a half day at DHS, so I don't want to travel far for dinner.

Any new Star Wars or Toy Story meals opening?

Thanks!

There are no sit-down restaurants in either SWGE or TSL, and no character meals planned for either that I've heard of.

The Hollywood & Vine is a buffet service, though the food gets very mixed reviews. The other restaurants in HS are all either non- buffet table service or quick service locations. I can't think of any buffets at Boardwalk, I believe they are all menu ordering too.

ETA: Cape May is a buffet only at Breakfast, I forgot about that one.

If you're willing to head over to Epcot from HS, the Garden Grille is a buffet restaurant.

Cape May at the Beach Club would be my pick if you consider that close enough. Hollywood and Vine was good in the past, but has went downhill recently in my opinion.

Just an FYI garden grill is not buffet it’s family style but delicious

But the idea of Epcot is good they have Biergarten and the one in Norway.... forget the name

Ugh I wish we could head to Epcot for dinner, but we don't have park hoppers :(

Maybe we will give Hollywood and Vine another try. We tried it a few years ago and thought the menu, service, and characters were kinda blah..... I wish there was a toy story restaurant!!

I agree - when we went 2 years ago it was the ONLY dining experience we regretted...it was just...blah. Not BAD, but we didn't leave feeling we got our money's worth and the food wasn't great.

We did H&V for lunch in June and actually enjoyed the food... lots of options. Minnie and crew were there :) it was fun!

1900 park fare at the Grand Floridian isn't exactly close but it’s a fun buffet!

You could take the gondolas over to AoA and eat at the food court. There were a variety of options.
