Buffets at closing time?

If you eat at a buffet (specifically 1900 Park Fare) and have one of the last seatings, is the food still hot and plentiful? Or are they cleaning up around you? Anyone have any experiences to share? TIA!

We ALWAYS get on of the very last seating for breakfast buffets (we like to sleep late, plus we treat it is a brunch rather than just a breakfast) and I am amazed how I have NEVER felt rushed, never saw them cleaning up around me, or leaving old food on the buffet line. They replenish food even after the last ADR time. What they do sometimes is, they allow a section of the restaurant to get empty, and also if the buffet has 2 sides with the same items on it (like Chef Mickeys, for example) they will shut down and clean up one side.

Late breakfast ADRs are our favorite, and really make us feel like we are on "vacation!" Enjoy!

We have had the close to the last seating before and haven't had any problems with there not being any food. For Breakfast and Lunch, if the next meal is being set out we are offered stuff from that as well.

We did a late breakfast 10:30 ressie at 1900 Park Faire and it was terrible. The food was dried out and hard, there was only one egg station open with a huge line. From now on I like to go about 30 minutes after a place opens for service.
