1. If the buffet offers whole fruit, are you allowed to take an apple, banana, etc. with you when you leave or does all food have to be consumed at that restaurant?

2. How early do the character breakfasts start in the parks & resorts?

3. Do all of the park character breakfasts start at 8:05am?

1. Yes we've taken an apple or banana with us. Never had any question it.

2. I think it depends on the time of year. We went in december and we were the first adr for the epcot princess breakfast. Our adr was for 835am. We also had an adr for O'hana at opening and it was at 830am.

1. Yes we have taken fruit for later, once at CP the server noticed that DH had a thing for the cookies so she put some in a napkin for him to take

2. Cape May starts at 7:30 and CM starts at 7am

We actually had the server at Donalds Breakfast tell us to take some bananas or apples from the buffet for later.

Some Disney servers may tell you that you can indeed take a piece of fruit or a cookie, but at most buffets the rule of thumb is "take all you want to eat but eat everything you take" in the restaurant. I wouldn't count on it but you might get one of those generous servers.

I always take a piece of fruit or a cookie on the way out....I usually stop at the buffet after I have paid and sort of pretend like I plan to eat it right then...yeah, kinda sneaky but....let's face it, at those prices, they won't miss that 29 cent piece of fruit.

Thank you for your responses. I have buffet breakfasts planned for most mornings and wanted to make sure about this. I don't plan to pack my backpack full of food, but thought a banana & an apple to snack on later would be ok.

Wow! I wonder where the "you're stealing from Disney!" police are today. If it was a mug of soda this thread would be closed already.
