I've been searching and not seen this topic covered, if it has... sorry!
We're going to WDW at the end of April and have our ADRs but my children have asked about going to Chef Mickey's again. We went last year for breakfast but for dinner the kids menu doesn't appeal to me at all, I'm trying to get them to NOT eat Mac n Cheese and Chicken Fingers at every meal. Not that they'd mind, just me. :teeth:
If we do a buffet, can they eat what we eat even though they are paying child prices? I mean, I know it's a buffet and all, but will the server enforce it? Most buffets we go to charge less for the kids since they (typically) eat less, but don't limit what they can eat.
We can probably fit CM into the schedule... just need to figure this out first.

Here are our ADRs as they stand right now:

Saturday dinner: Mama Melrose: at MGM
Sunday Breakfast: Donald Breakfast at AK
Monday Dinner- Kona at the Polynesian Resort
Tuesday lunch- Garden Grill at Epcot (character lunch)
Wednesday dinner- Hoop De Doo Revue show at Wilderness Lodge
Thursday Dinner- Concourse Steakhouse at the Contemporary
Friday dinner- Coral Reef at Epcot

thanks!

Kids can eat anything at buffets. DD rarely eats from the kids section.

Adults can also eat from the kids section. :)

CM is DD's favorite. :)

Yep, They can eat absolutely anything on the buffet whether its adult or child or a mixture. You can also eat off the child area as well.

My kids love CM's for Dinner.

Thanks. When I saw that the menus on All Ears had a children's section, I panicked! Now to try and work CM into our plans...

cheers

We have the most amazing all you can eat buffet right down the road from us-- Nordic Lodge . Their prices are high- even for kids, but it is the all you can eat lobster, shrimp, filet, etc. that gets busses coming in from hours away. The logic in the buffet industry's pricing is quantity. In general, kids won't eat as much. Heck, I don't eat as much in a buffet, I just love to try new things and pick and choose. Even here, kids eat anything they wish. They just require an adult's help if under something like 8 or 9. Let your kids enjoy whatever they want and grab a chicken finger or two for yourself!
