Buffalo restaurants

Hi;

We'll be staying overnight in Buffalo before flying to Orlando. Can you please recommend some good restaurants in Buffalo? We would like to try the Cheesecake Factory but apparently they don't accept reservations and wait times are longer (more than 1 hour)...

Dont know if your willing to eat right after you cross the border but there is the anchor bar home of the chicken wings. Nothing fancy.

We waited about 20 minutes for our table at the Cheesecake factory. If your going to go to the Walden Galleria area and you want to eat, there are lots of Options.
In the mall, there is also a P.F. Chengs ( Chinese, sit down), The Melting Pot ( Fondue) also around the mall, there is a TGI fridays, Olive Garden, Fudruckers etc.
Lots to choose from.

If you want to do something more fast food our fave is Dibella's Subs on Union Rd. By Far the best sub I have ever had in my life. We also really like Fudruckers burgers.

The only good thing was the desserts!

I had heard lots of good thing about, so I guess I am glad that I went to see for myself.

We always eat at the Olive Garden when we're in the States...so my vote is for the Olive Garden. We've never tried the Cheesecake Factory maybe we'll give it a try before our upcoming trip.

If you just want cheesecake you can get it from the to go counter.

If you go to Transit road (Exit 49, just past the airport) and turn left, there are all kinds of places to eat. Our favourite is the Cracker Barrel - great prices and wonderful food.

We really enjoyed Outback Steakhouse when we went in March. There wasn't much of a wait, and their coconut shrimp was wonderful!

We love to eat at the Olive Garden too.

We ate at Olive Garden on our last trip in December. They do take reservations, so take advantage of that. I didn't and had to wait an hour (6 of us crowding at the entrance on a rainy night). Food was ok, but expected better for the price.
My personal choice would be Outback esp. since we don't have them in Ontario anymore. Love their salads too.

I'm looking into this too. I would love to eat at Olive Garden or Cheesecake Factory, but this trip is all about my 7 yr old son, who is a really picky eater. I'm leaning towards Johnny Rockets in the mall because they have the mini hotdogs, which is something new and intersting. I just hate the generic kids menu that seems to be everywhere. He doesn't like hamburgers, lately will turn his nose up at mac & cheese or grilled cheese, and if I see one more pepperoni pizza I am going to throw up!!!

Any other suggestions?

We'll be staying at the Marriott in Buffalo (Priceline purchase) - On Marriott's website, under 'nearbly restaurants', they have a link to Texas Roadhouse - I checked out their website - The menu looks good and reasonable and the reviews are pretty good - We may try them out...

Our family LOVES PF Changs and eat at one whenever we can find one. We always make sure you get the lettuce wraps and the crab won ton appetizers.

Try 'Bravo', a nice Italian restuarant in the mall, right across from the Cheesecake Factory.
