Hello,

I'm wondering it's worth going to this show if I have allergies
with dust or pollen? I've never been to the arena. Is it possible
to be seated further away from the scene and not get dust in
one's eyes?

I generally don't suffer much from it here in Sweden, but if a
hotel room has a lot of dust, my eyes will get red.

Anyone know what the deal is?

I know the hotel I'm staying at has wall to wall carpet, but there isn't
much to choose from. Allergi medication will take force!

We visited this Easter and had a wonderful time. I intend writing a report as soon as I get chance.
Although none of our party have asthma I dont like dusty atmospheres and had no problem at all.
We were seated a few rows back and there were more rows behind us so I suppose you could ask for one as far back as possible to be on the safe side.

DH has asthma triggered by horse hair. He did chance it with us in 2001 but really suffered afterwards, despite sitting quite far back and taking piriton and antihistamine eye drops beforehand.

If its the sawdust that triggers yours you might be Ok.

Its a fab show and the atmosphere electric :thumbsup2

I don't have problems with asthma, but I do have allergi from
dust. I was in a hotel room that was supposed to be allergi free
but there was so much dust under the side table and I responded
to that. I get very red in my eyes.

I guess I'd better not see this show. I'm sure it's a good one
though.

Thanks for the information. I'm sure other shows will be just as
fun. I've seen a few of the fun shows in Florida in 1990 when I
was living in the US. I went to Walt Disney World then.

I was just going to ask about the dust from the arena floor.

I went to see the medievil knights show in Las Vegas and half way through I suddenly had a severe allergic reaction and my throat closed upup, I couldn't breath, they had to help me out (to the casino LOL) and get the medical staff. THey gave me benedryl via an IV, sent me to emergency to get checked out. Doctor said avoid shows like that!

Years passed and I forgot about the incident, I don't come accross horses in my daily life ;) my daughter was taking summer camp riding lessons and I went to see her ride - honestly, I thought I was going to die, it hit me like a ton of bricks again - something about that red dust & horses.

So my question is, is this what is on the ground at the WW show?

I have dust allegi and I have been to the show twice with no problems. But there are a lot of dust in the arena. It's a shame that some of you can't go and see it cause it's a really good show.

I have asthma - very mild fortunately - and suffered no ill effects. I wasn't impressed with the meals but the show itself was great fun - would definitely recommend
