My Mum is booking this show for when we go in July. Does anyone know what the food is like there? I know roughly what they have to eat but I was just wondering if it's nice or not lol as it seems very basic.

Donna, it's nothing to rave about but it's perfectly edible. Put it this way, I was very pleasantly surprised after some of the awful reviews I had read! :teeth: I had read not to sit at the back because the food was always cold by the time you were served there and guess where we were sitting! However it was piping hot and we had to let it cool before we could eat it! I just wished they served chicken strips rather than a chicken leg, I always think they are messy at the best of times and it is rather dark in there! :lmao:
Enjoy the show, it is a great evening! :goodvibes

The food is good. Perhaps you don`t like everything but won`l leave with hunger.
I personally like the patato, the sweet bread and jummie jummie the hot cake with ice.

food is ok, hot chilli to start with, corn bread which was yummy, chicken.veg which was mushy for my liking, potatoes and then a yummy apple cobbler, its edible, but its the show you go for, try to sit middle/front, we sat in the middle food served 1st and was very hot. enjoy

The food is fairly decent barbeque. The corn bread is yum and the sausages are good too. DH is really picky about his BBQ and I was surprised when he said it wasn't bad! So, enjoy it The show is fun. Where else can you see live buffalos and eat a chicken leg at the same time!

I decided to book for this one too. I'm keen to see the live buffalo :) :)

The food is decent, and seems to be better depending on how how hungry you are.
