Hello,

We will be flying out of Buffalo to Orlando in two weeks and are looking for a hotel near the airport as our flight leaves early in the morning. Many of the hotels I've checked only accomodate families of 4. Can anyone recommend a hotel that accommodates a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children)?

Thank you!

There is a Hilton Homewood Suites on Dick Rd, just around the corner from the airport that has rooms that can accommodate 5 people. There is a Comfort Suites also on Dick Rd, almost across the street from Homewood Suites, that likely can accommodate you as well. Both have free airport shuttles.

We often stay at the Sleep Inn- at the end of the airport. Free shuttle and a nice breakfast in the morning. We 've gotten a suite here when my father travels with us (5 people).

Trinity reservations usually has Staybridge Suites on there and will sleep 6. We have booked it a few times through them. It's a little further out, but well worth the money when you need the room. I liked the free laundry too, I would wash all my clothes that night and leave them in the car for our return, (winter clothes that I didn't need in Florida) Free breakfast and if it is a Sun to Thurs dinner as well.

I think we've used Staybridge through Trinity for 3 separate vacations now (total of 6 one-night stays with most recent being this past Saturday). It is a great hotel and the staff is quite accommodating. The price through Trinity seems very reasonable compared to park-sleep-fly packages at comparable hotels (and is much cheaper even than booking with the hotel direct). If you book with Trinity, I think the most guests you can list per room is 4 even though there are rooms that sleep 6. I usually request a room with 2 queens plus sleeper sofa and 4 of the 6 times we've gotten it, but twice we've gotten a single queen plus sleeper room (only 4 of us, so not a big issue). You might want to email Trinity before doing the online booking ... they have been very responsive to my emails in the past.

Is this the Staybridge Suites on Transit Rd (Route 78)? If so, it's definitely a nice hotel in a good area with lots of restaurants around. But I will caution it's about a 8-10 minute drive to the airport, and the area can be high traffic especially during rush hour and on weekends. Any hotel on Dick Rd or Genesee Street will be a 5 minute drive or less to the airport and you'll run into less traffic as well. Not a huge deal, but something to consider as well!

Yes, it's on Transit road. We've never found the drive to be more than 10-15 minutes (even at heavy traffic times). This last trip we paid $145 USD per night (all taxes in) and that included up to 2 weeks of parking ... other similar type hotels in the area were well over $200 (before tax), so the extra bit of distance from the airport was worth the trade off for us.

We like the Sleep inn as well. 1 room suite with 2 beds and a sofabed. Price is pretty good. As mentioned above, free breakfast. One thing I liked was as we were checking in I mentioned going to bring the car at the econolot which is pretty much across the street as the girl at the front desk showed us their price. 27 for the week if I remember right. It's a secured lot a few minutes away. Shuttle drops you off and pics you up. Driver waited until all cars were started before leaving
