Anyone been there latley? How was the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff and the complimentary breakfast and how close was it to WDW? We are staying one night before we check into our WDW resort. TIA!

We stayed here for a couple of nights precruise in January. It is right up the road from Epcot - just a few minute drive. The rooms were recently renovated and were clean, though they were a little smaller than I expected. Staff was friendly and there was a good selection for a free breakfast. What I remember them having: cereals, muffins, bagels, breads, yogurt, canned fruit, sausage, home fries, scrambled eggs, biscuits/gravy, pancakes one day, waffles another, oj, apple juice, milk, water, coffee. They will also cook eggs to order. Hope this helps!

We just returned from a weekend stay there. I had no complaints, however DD6 walks in and goes "Mom, we always stay at beautiful hotels, what are we doing here?" I about died right there. We arrived at about 9:30 and our room was ready. We were on the sixth floor facing the road. Room was exactly as the pictures all over the internet. I only wish that there was something to separate the main bedroom from the sink/bathroom area. Rooms were a little small, but not too bad. Bed was comfortable. Saturday night I hardly slept with all the cars racing down the street. I kept expecting to hear a crash. Breakfast was ok, again DD6 wasn't too crazy about the breakfast eggs, so she ate a bagel and pancakes. Traffic on both roadways by the hotel was a little heavy and something that left me thinking..... offsite - probably won't ever do it again.

Of course I come home to check my credit cards to see the damage and find out that the hotel has charged me more than the bill stated and they put it through twice. Have called the hotel and Dreams Unlimited (thought about booking through the other site which was $10 cheaper, but thought I would support the DIS) and am waiting to see what happens. Hopefully everything will be resolved quickly.

I stayed here back in December and the rooms were very clean. The breakfast was ok considering it was free. I had to laugh when the pp said she was waiting for a crash after listening to the traffic fly by all night. The first night we were there, we didn't get in until after midnight and by the time we got to bed it was 1 am. I was just falling asleep and I heard the most horrible car wreck. I was afraid to look outside for about ten minutes and when I did there was cars smashed everywhere and a tire actually flew into the parking lot of the hotel. Needless to say I had the hardest time falling asleep every night. I said something to the front desk the next morning and she said that accidents happen all the time. Will not stay there again due to the traffic either.

I called the hotel again and was able to speak to the accounting department. They actually put a hold on your card of double the amount of your bill, including an additional $10 per person, so I have $655 on hold on my credit card, for a bill of $267.

I told DH only Disney and Gaylord going forward

Oh wow! pp comment about the double charge I called the hotel and the assure me that they will only charge my 1 night fee and tax plus $10 for incidentals and I asked if I could do the $10 by cash instead of them putting a hold on my card that will take a week to come off

That is correct - they will only charge you the one night, but they put a hold on your card for double the amount. I know that Disney does it too, but I have never noticed it since I just used my room key to charge everything. Th
