Budget saver RE: Rental cars!

I didn't know this until a few months ago but we can use our car insurance for the rental car as well! That shaves off a few bucks for a weekly rental! Just wanted to share since this would've helped us many times since we got married had we known

Some credit cards offer additional rental insurance coverage. The coverage by the credit card is usually secondary to your auto insurance policy though. This means that the credit card company would pay your deductible but your auto insurance would pay the rest. Typically this is a benefit on platinum type credit cards.
