Budget Honoring Coupons?

For our weekend trip next week, I wasn't having any luck on Priceline. My husband found a coupon, but it was not for the class of car we are renting. However, Budget's website took it. I thought I had read about people having problems once they got to the rental couter...anyone have any experiences with that? Or do they have to honor it if the computer takes it? We have a printout of the coupon and would be using Mastercard, which is what it's for, but the car class worried me.

Thankfully, I got Priceline today for the same price so we were able to cancel it, but I'd like to know for future reference. It's hard to get the weekend Priceline rentals at this time of the year. That's the one thing i like about Priceline...they are pre-paid, so we never get any arguement over the final price.

That was to be used ONLY if I was renting a compact car. My reservation was for economy. When I got to the FastBreak kiosk
(in the garage) I was given an upgrade to compact(Ford Focus) AND they took my coupon!!!! I was wicked happy with Budget,and will definitely use them again!!
