Budget friendly NYE vacation

I'm looking for some budget friendly family vacations over New Year's Eve in the NorthEast. Last year we did Willow Vallay and it was nice, but we're not really interested in going back. The Hershey Lodge is doing a celebration with full dinner buffet and breakfast, but a family of 6 is running $1300
I can't really justify spending all that money for one night with the economy being so bad.

I am considering going to Myrtle Beach, but can't really find a family friendly celebration to attend. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I was debating the Great Wolf Lodge, but it was about $400/night...looking for something different, but probably will do the dinner and a movie.
