Budget Friendly Car Rentals?

Hi does anyone know of any deals for car rentals for a week? I need a 7 passenger for a week for our disney world trip in december. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

We found a good deal for 10 days in November from Thrifty at the airport. We got a full size for $189 including everything.

Google "December 2015 car rental disboards" (without quotes) and it'll pop up.

Then stalk that thread. Every time I plan a trip I subscribe to the thread for that month and it always helps me bring the price down.

MouseSavers always has a current list of coupon codes for all the MCO agencies. Use Ebates. If you have a Costco card check their rates (sometimes you can save so much that it makes sense to get a Costco membership just to take advantage of the rate).

That said, it will be tougher to get a low rate for a 7-passenger because it's such a specific category. They're in high demand at MCO and each rental company only has a limited supply. Rent one now at a price you can live with because the price may well go a lot higher before it drops (and in that category, it might never drop). Depending on the makeup of your travel party, it might cost less to get two smaller cars (provided you're staying on-property and won't have to pay for parking for two cars).

carrentalsavers.com was a frequent site for me when I was looking for our rental. I booked something right away that I could live with but then I would check every day, sometimes several times a day to see if the rates came down at all. For a long time they went up, making me very happy I had made a reservation when I did, but then a couple of days before the trip I caught a rental $40 less than what I had. I snatched it quickly. The next morning the rates were back up so for me it paid to keep looking often.

No we just did the Pay Now option.
