Budget for food at the San Diego Zoo?

I'm trying to work out our final budget, and I have no idea what to plan for when it comes to dining at the zoo. We are taking Amtrak from Anaheim to San Diego, so I know I'll need to budget for a taxi or bus to the zoo from the train station, but from there, what kinds of extra costs should I expect? I've looked on the zoo web site, but it just shows the menus without pricing.

It's not cheap, but it's not as much as Sea World! And I really like a lot of our food. I'd say about $10 per meal per person and a few bucks more for a drink. Save your cup and you'll get cheaper refills.

If you don't get a chance to call, you can stop at Guest Services or the Information Station and ask. We have a binder with the ingredient lists in them.

Kids Burger is 100% ground beef.

Adult Burgers are Beef, Flavoring, Salt, Seasoning (flavor from corn oil) modified corn starch, corn syrup solids.
