We have always done the dining plan at WDW. So how do you pay for your meals, cash, credit card or does your room key have charging privl.? What do you think is the easiest way?

DD and her BF will be on there own for lunch, is $15 ea. enough for lunch at a counter service? Oh, and do you tip at Three Broomsticks?

I was planning 3 table services (Mythos, Bubba Gumps and Jimmy Buffett) ,what would you budget for 4 adults, 1 child? (no alcohol)

We are a family of 3, DW, DS 8, and me. We always budget $150 per day. That covers $50 per meal. We always pay cash since I have seen some people have problems with room charging. Also I would rather know how much upfront then getting a bill at he end. We normally divided the cash into separate envelopes for each day. What ever is left over at the end of the day goes into and overflow envelope. If we need extra we get it from there and if we don't then its extra cash to come home with.:goodvibes

I forgot to add: We do not drink, once in a blue moon.

Aren't you purchasing an AP while you're there? Didn't I read that? Don't forget to show your AP when you check out to make sure you get the AP discount.

or show your AAA card and recieve the same 10% discount for food and merch.
valid in the parks and city walk.

I hope you meant $15 per person? If you meant that $15 would cover 4 adults and 1 child's meals, then forget it. :rotfl2: I think $15 would only cover 5 drinks with very little change.

At 3 Broomsticks

3 of us ate lunch, and each got butterbeer in souvenir cups for $63.

My DDs split a breakfast, and each got a butterbeer for a little over 15

We only had appetizers at Margaritaville so can't help there.

A good inexpensive option at citywalk is Moes. Quick, tasty, and cheap. The kids meals are big. 3 of us ate there for $21.

I used my room charge as much as possible. Just really easy, IMO. Didn't want to carry cash.

I would like to know where you are getting 5 drinks for $15 cause all my drinks range from $8 to $10 and even a beer costs $5.50 :lmao:

Haha, I wish we could all eat for $15. We couldn't even eat at McDonalds :rotfl:

You can get a AAA discount of 10% at all the restaurants. We have never had any problems charging to our room.

We charge most things to the room and carry just enough cash for small purchases like water, etc.
