Just out of curiosity, what would your food budget be for a week long trip?

We are a family of 6 with two adults, two kids, and two babies and I would like to stay at $1000. That seems like so much but it doesn't go very far at Disney!

Assuming the babies can just eat off the adults' plates and you don't mind doing mostly counter service for lunch and dinner with breakfast in your room (bring cereal or oatmeal with you) I would think $1000 for a week would be enough.

We are budgeting $800 for our week with 7. We are camping and likely to only eat 1 meal a day in a park or resort if that.

We are budgeting $2300 for 3 adults for 8 nights. Plus we will have a full kitchen and cook dinner in 3 nights.

We have typically done around $1,000 for 6 nights, 2 adults and 2 children (one child was 10 last time, but mostly ate off the kids menus anyways). We brought cereal and ate it in our rooms, would eat one table service and one quick service meal a day. We chose restaurants that were better values out of pocket, such as Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch, Sci Fi, Via Napoli, etc., but do splurge on a couple other more expensive restaurants.
