Both me and DH are Fastbreak members. I can't remember if we got a card or not. Is one needed when doing a Fastbreak rental or do we just need our Fastbreak number? Thanks

I asked about fastbreak, and I think all that you need is the number, but you could always call them

I use Fastbreak at Orlando International quite often and have never needed my card. I just hand the person in the kiosk my confirmation print out, my license and CC.

DVC-DON:

We normally use Hertz Gold but we will be using Budget FastBreak this year because Hertz is too expensive right now. Is the Budget Fastbreak efficient and the Kiosk easy to find? We want to avoid waiting in lines as much as possible.

Thanks for the info.

Just follow the Budget signs to the parking garage. The kiosk is in the garage and there is hardly ever a line there. Hand the attendant your stuff and he/she will hand you the keys.

This'll be my first time using Fastbreak, so I want to make sure I understand. It sounds like you bypass the counter in the terminal entirely and just go to the kiosk in the garage with your confirmation? Also, when you say that they "hand you the keys," I'm assuming it's not like National Emerald Reserve (which is what I usually do, but is $100 more this trip!) where you can actually pick your own specific car from the row -- they select one for you? Thanks!

I was confused by this, also.
What I did was to go to budget.com, and instead of putting in my info, I clicked on the top toolbar where it says Rentals reservations. A new screen comes up that has the space for the code.

I've found that if you log on as a Fastbreak member, you can't use a code. I made my ressie first, NOT logged in. Then I called Budget with the number on the site, and told them to add my Fastbreak info to my ressie. I was able to save some money using a code from Costco.

It seems that the website doesn't like Fastbreak members to use codes!

Oh well....never mind! I went thru rentalcarmomma.com to make a res thru Budget. Ended up with $171.05...for a mid-size SUV!! Couldn't believe that a short time later (after I originally checked prices) that the SUV came up cheaper than economy and compacts! If I've learned anything these past two days, it's to call, try online, try codes, and research, research and ask DIS!!
