BUDGET BUSTER: New refrigerator

Grrrr! The compressor on my fridge went out on Monday and the repairman told me today that I better start shopping for a new one! We have a cruise to pay off next month (but I do have the money set aside), I owen $100 for DD's dance recital fee, $80 next week for her pictures and I just paid $150 today for some passoprts. ARGH!!!

I guess I should be glad I have the cash money to pay for it and I wont have to put it on a credit card and pay for it for years to come.

See if there is a used appliance store somewhere nearby. When our fridge went out, we went to a local company that refurbs appliances. They gave us a two-year warranty (1 yr longer than manufacturer) and we a got a nearly new Kenmore for 1/2 the cost of new. Good luck!
