Budget at MCO

Hello,

Mousesavers published a new rate for minivans through Budget: $189 week.

Has anyone rented from Budget? How was your experience? Are they right at the terminal like Alamo? Can you pick out the car you want in the garage, or do they assign a specific vehical?

We have used Budget many times and been satisfied. They are also in the garage like Alamo/National. If you are a Fast Break member you can go right to the garage. We were not allowed to pick our own vehicle. We were given keys at the kiosk and skipped the line in the terminal because we are Fast Break members. I can't remember for certain but I think MAYBE when we signed up for Fast Break we got a membership number right away so we could use it to make reservations. I also think, not sure, that being a Fast Break member allows spouse to drive free.
If we needed a minivan I would jump on the above price. Also, if you have access to an entertainment coupon it will be deducted from your total bill when you check in but you need to register it when you book.

Budget and the FastBreak program are good. We've used them in the past without a problem. They use a few different Minivans including the Ford Freestar, Hyundai Entourage, Dodge Grand Caravan and Chevrolet Uplander....
