Budget and on line arithmetic

I've been on line with all the rental car companies trying to get the best deal for our October trip (Only three nights)

The best deal I have so far is from Budget.

$93 plus tax and surcharges. And that's the problem.

From the web page:

Rate
Base Rate: 92.97 USD for 3 days
Surcharge Summary: 18.76 USD
Taxes: 8.61 USD
Estimated Total Rate: 141.02 USD

Rate Code: M6

Now $93+$27=120 NOT $141

Has anybody else had this problem? Am I missing something? I use different computers, clean out my cookies etc. and still can't get it to add right.

Just re-checked my Budget reservation and everything adds up correctly.

Call them and question it!!

I switched from Budget to National using the Carlson Leisure rate found on Mousesavers and got a rate for 3 days ( 10-29 pick up at MCO and drop off 11-1 at the Dolphin ) for a grand total of $102.80 . Hope this helps Michelle

I think maybe tax is PER day not total.
