We just saw them at our Brookstones yesterday!

My best friend and I were out shopping a couple weeks ago and she was looking for these as a gift. We looked at both BB&B and Hallmark because she had read online that they had them. They didn't at ours at least.

We found them at Books-a-Million (on a small table near the front on display). They had a security device on the package (these things are pricey for what they are!) and it took 10 minutes, two clerks, and 3 different Bucky Ball boxes to get the security thing off!

I've seen them at Urban Outfitters and at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Just be very careful if younger children are around when playing with the magnet balls.

A few years ago children that were 6 and younger were swallowing the magnetic balls. If only one was swallowed it wasn't a huge deal but some children died because the parents didn't know they swallowed them and it caused there intestines to stick together with the magnets.

I believe the age on the toy was 5+, but there was a child that was in the recommended age group that swallowed magnets.

They may have made it so the magnets aren't as strong.

They have then at the calendar store in our mall. They said that they do not sell them to anyone under 14 yrs old. They are expensive to. The ones my son pointed out were $35!

I've seen them on the counter at FYE too. Always amusing to play with while waiting, but I don't think it's worth the cost. I love those natural magnetic rocks that make a cool noise when they cling together.

I love bucky balls. they are impossible to put down once you start playing! much cooler than other magnetic items.......
