Buckaroo's Dad Headliner In Vegas!

Although I am not completely new to these boards, I am not a veteran either. When I do get a few minutes to surf, I somehow end up here.....relishing great memories from our last cruise, and feverishly planning our next one. My husband couldn't have been more impressed, for everytime an occasion arose, out came a new "necessity" from the suitcase! Such as various sizes of Ziploc baggies, more underwater cameras than a family of four could ever need, and a set of SeaBands for all!! I am SO happy to have found these boards, and have met some amazing people. The information and help is second to none!!

However, in the last few days have read some crazy posts targeting Buckaroo's Dad. Now, I don't know this man personally, but will defend his humor any day of the week. I for one LOVE his quick wit and smart remarks! Not only is it obvious to me, a total stranger, that he is joking.....but it is clear as day that he is just trying to make people smile! In our world, as fragile as it is, I appreciate a good laugh. Thanks to BD, I have had SEVERAL! Even funnier is the fact that my husband laughs at me, wondering what in the world could possibly be so funny, while I am laughing away at my computer!!! Living in Las Vegas, we have paid to see comedy acts that weren't nearly as entertaining as BD's humor!!!!

THANKS BD, and to ALL OF YOU who make this board so GREAT!!!!!!!

Now....on to redoing my packing list for the 100th time! Could I be forgetting something??? Only 3 months to go!!!

I couldn't agree more. Buckaroo's Dad is a breath of fresh air on a place that sometimes gets too wrapped up on which excursion is better, which side of the ship is better, or who had the better serving team.

Just as I can count on Barb, Tony & Dave for an answer on just about anything having to do with DCL, I can count on BD to find a little something in a post and bring a smile to my face.

However just as I can count on Shirley to be caring and thoughtful, I can count on BD to be the same. Every post of his ins't flippant. I have seen a very caring side of BD. I also see a man who is very caring about the raising and well being of his son and from the picture I saw they look very happy together.

Some may have been happy when he was on his cruise and away from these boards. I was torn. I was happy he and Buckaroo were enjoying their MAGICal cruise, but I missed him and his humor.

Thanks BD for making every day bright, and for making us able to laugh!

I'm a BD fan as well, he always seems to bring a smile to my face with his quick wit.

I got to see BD and B together, and it appears to me that BD and B, are as close as any father and son could be. It will be a pleasure sailing with them next year!!!

I've been privileged to have been a friend of BD's now for over a year - I find him a refreshing and intelligent guy who has a great sense of humor. If you can't laugh at his posts, then maybe you need to get a life!!!!!!!!
