Can anyone tell me if they serve bread automatically or do you have to order garlic bread separately if you want it?

Also, how many 'small' dishes would you order for 6 people to eat?
How many desserts?

Never been, can't wait, but don't want to order too much or not enough!

thanks!

I haven't ate there in a while, but I think you have to order the garlic bread with the meal. For 6 people, I would order 3 of the dishes. I remember each one being enough for around 2 people. If they are big eaters I would maybe order 4 to be safe.

we are a family of 4 large eaters and what we usually order is garlic bread with cheese (you have to order the bread), a large salad, a pasta dish and a large entree and we have plenty of food to bring home. We have never ordered dessert because we were always too full!

I'm having issues! I'm compulsive-ly planning this as I've been on a diet for months and going to splurge on this meal! 2 of the 6 are kids going.... hope they want what I want! ;)

Here's what is sounding good....

Mozzarella garlic bread
Caesar and/or mixed green w/ prosciutto and gorgonzola salad
Quattro al forno
Chicken or Eggplant Parmigiana
Pepperoni Pizza

Tiramisu
Chocolate Cake
Chocolate Cannoli
Chocolate Vesuvio

YUMMY! (or at least they sound yummy... never been!)

Here is a tip for any italian restaurant. Before ordering ask the waiter if you may have a small sample of the various red sauces.

My Italian FIL has a sensitive stomach and did not want to eat anything too acidic late at night. That and who wants a whole meal of a sauce you do not like?

Halfway through the meal the chef came out to see what we thought of the meal.

Sign up for the e-club and the next day they will email you a coupon for a free small appetizer (the calamari is very good). Also, they send $10 off coupons through email every 2 weeks or so and coupons through the mail periodically.

I hope you enjoy it! We love it. I like the Fettucine Supremo and DH always orders Spaghetti and meatballs or meatsauce, lasagna or ravioli. You really can't go wrong with anything. Actually, the only thing I didn't like there was Chicken Parmagiana. I've never had the eggplant or veal.

As an answer to your questions: 3 small dishes if you want leftovers (and can't decide on 2), 2 if you don't (and are getting salad or an appetizer). For desserts, I would say 2 and my suggestion is Cannolis or Tiramisu

I can't answer your questions but I can tell you this: when we went with 14 people the server guided us on how much food to order, and was pretty much dead on.

::yes:: Just ask the waiter.

They will give you bread and oil or butter at no cost. You just have to pay if you want garlic bread or garlic cheese bread.

I recommend the cheese ravs with meat sauce. :thumbsup2

thanks everyone! Can't wait! mmmmmmmm.....

the chocolate cake is HUGE.
but very good.
this is a picture of the cake (with some things to help you see how big it is)
