Bubba Gumps

HI, first time visiting Universal in almost 16 years.

I am interested in dining at Bubba Gumps, do I need reservations or can I walk in?

They don't take reservations or participate in the onsite resort guests priority seating program

Yep, just walk in. Eat at an off time like 4-5 pm for dinner. Should have no issues then.

We have a BG here in Ft Lauderdale and have never been there but many times in Citywalk.

We stopped there last trip. Enjoyed ourselves....good food, reasonable prices and just fun place to eat. Unfortunately can't go back this trip, traveling with three vegans.

We paid $25 but got a $25 credit on our account within a couple of days to use towards your meal. We were seated right away while the people right in front of us had a 30 min wait bc priority seating is one of the benefits of the landrys club

Great tip! They also give you a 25 credit for your birthday. Could you tell me if this can be combined with the 25 dollar entry credit? Also, what were the expiration on these credits? Just so I don't get too over eager and get it too soon. We don't have any applicable restaurants locally so would only use these on vacation. Thanks!

If you are already a member than you are entitled to priority seating each and ever time you go to one of their locations. Not just on the first time. I use it at Morton's and plan to use it at Bubba Gumps as well.

YOu got me very curious about this too. From what it says on their website under FAQ's,

welcome points:
"Points are valid for 12 months from the date issued. Points will not be reinstated or extended."

birthday points:
"Your $25 Birthday Reward will be automatically added onto your Landry's Select Club account on the first day of your birthday month. Birthday Rewards expire on the 15th of the month following your birthday month. Birthday Rewards can be deferred but will expire on the 15th if unused. If you register your account during the month of your birthday, your Birthday Reward will automatically be added to your account 24 hours after your account is registered. Regardless of sign-up date, the Birthday Reward will expire on the 15th of the following month"

As far as using them together:
"Rewards are redeemed in the order they were earned. Restaurants do not have the option of selecting which reward to redeem from a members account. The welcome reward will automatically be applied on the member's first visit to the restaurant following registration."

even though the website says you can't use them together, they deducted both $25 amounts of our bill, after taking our card m & checking our account.
