Bubba Gump and Emeril's - september reservations

Bubba Gump and Emeril's - do we need to make reservations for lunch or dinner in september?

just how busy does it get?

We'll be at universal in september 2013, monday thru friday and will want to catch lunch on a couple of days at bubba gump and emeril's. would we need to make reservations?

I went to Bubba Gump twice last year in early September. Completely recommended by me and even my sister who is not into seafood.

They told us that they don't do reservations, it's first come first served unless that has recently changed...

We picked a weekday for lunch around 12:30 pm and it was pretty empty. Didn't see the place getting filled either closer to 1 pm either.

For dinner, it was a Saturday around 6 pm and the place was busy but the two of us were seated as soon as we got in the door. Tables seemed to be cleared and emptied and filled again quickly too and this was good as the food was being brought out quickly and you were given enough time to enjoy it with no rush

Never went to Emeril's to comment on it.

Bubba Gumps does not take ressies at all.
Emerils does .I found it decent but quite overpriced.
YOu can make ressies for dining on Opentable.com
How far out simply depends on the restaurants some are a few months, resort eateries are 60-90 days ahead,They are not neccessary

I made a ressie lfor emerils for middle of august 2012 but didn't really need it as plenty of space, quite expensive but really nice food and quality service booked on open table well in advance

We have the Landrys Select card which gives us priority seating. Has anyone tried using it at CityWalk
