Btmrr ???

I've got a quick question...what is BTRanch? I know that BTMRR-is the roller coaster and the kids love it. I was checking the calendar on DL's site for the attractions that will be up and running for our trip in a couple weeks, but it said that "Big Thunder Ranch" was closed for refurbishment, are they one in the same?

It was closed while we were there (and it was our first trip, so I have no prior experience.) But I believe it's a petting zoo.

Big Thunder Ranch is an area between Frontierland and Fantasyland. It used to be a pretty good bbq place. Now it is the location of Woody's Round-up, a special Halloweeny type thing for the kids. Got a petting zoo full of goats, some craft thing for the kids, a decorate your own Mr. Potato Head sponge cake thingy, a show with Woody and Jessi (I think that's her name), and a pretty cool pumpkin decorating display. During the Christmas time it is where Santa Clause is.

NO.. They are not one in the same..

Right now they have Woody's Halloween Roundup.. A place to color, eat, listent to music, play games with the kids.. Petting zoo

I know they do set it up for Christmas. But I have not seen it then. Most likely why it will be closed..

Big Thunder Ranch is supposed to have reindeer and Santa Claus there for Christmas.
