BTMR refurb??!??!

What is this? They just added this in for April now? I get that things go down, but with autopia and jungle cruise down, it doesn't really seem right that they ninja add in a refurb on one of their bigger attractions.

What's going on? I just booked and this was not listed a week ago.

Thank you!!! I have been wondering this myself!! I just saw on the calendar that BTMR is scheduled to be closed! But none of the other websites mention this one. We are going 4/26. I'll be bummed if it is closed then! I also saw that the Monorail will be down too? We are staying at DLH and I was looking forward to taking the Monorail

I just was looking at April 15th and 16th and it's no longer showing up as a refurb but still showing the monorail will be down.

Yep, it looks like BTMR was only closed for a short stint. Phew! But the Monorail is still down as of today! I am hoping it will be open by the 4/26! No Railroad OR Monorail. Hmph!

Disney doesn't give the advanced notice regarding closures that they used to. This is especially true when there's already a number of E ticket rides closed. When that happens they may only give a week or two notice of a major "re-imagining".

REALLY hoping they don't close BTMRR in May.

They just announced BTMRR will be closed in October when we go to Disney World. I am so hoping to ride it at Disneyland, at least.

The refurbs this year, on both coasts, are annoying me. I almost wish we had skipped Disney in 2016, but airfare is booked, so that's that.
