I have a spider plant and another that I have no idea what the name is. The spider plant has some brown on the tips of the leaves. What does this mean? Too much water? Sun? The other plant even the brand new leaves have brown...please help, I don't want to kill them. They are both thriving even though there is brown. The spider has lots of babies ;)

the florist that my mother in law used to work for said that the brown tips was from either to much water or the cholrine in the water did it......so I would put my water out for two days before I put that in my plants. they are happy little buggers now!! :cool1:

Also could be too little water, or too little humidity, or needs the salts flushed out of the pot.
