Brown Derby, Ohana's, Kona Cafe, Sci-fi?????

We have eaten at all 4 restaurants. I would recommend Sci Fi for lunch as several other have stated. If you are not coming back to MGM, Ohana and Kona are both good, but I think the food choices are better at Kona. Ohana is a fun family atmosphere, with limited food choices. The Brown Derby is one of our favorite restaurants, you can't go wrong there, especially if you plan to do more at MGM after dinner. So, final choice depends on what you plan to do after dinner. No matter what, have fun!!

Been to all of them and Brown Derby is by far the most upscale. Ohana has good atmosphere but IMHO, the food was just ok. Both Sci-Fi and Kona are more casual dining. I tried the steak at Sci-Fi and wished I stuck with a burger. When I asked for A-1 steak sauce, the waiter was combative and said that there was a sauce on the steak already. Without telling him that I had already tasted it and it was bland, I insisted that I still wanted it, as I could just picture him going back to the chef and the chef coming out with a cleaver based on his "attitude". Personality issues aside, the thing I don't like about Sci-Fi is that they could put you in the "back seat" of a "car" being occupied by another patron(s). Personally, I really did not like looking at the back of someone's head when there were plenty of empty cars around. Kona was good for breakfast and where you can get the much raved about Tonga Toast, but it is out in the open lobby and your most casual choice listed.

I love, love, love all meals at Kona. We had both breakfast and dinner there during our Christmas trip. (just returned) The mahi-mahi is my favorite, but I enjoy everything offered. My question is whether Kona will be convenient for you? Will you be staying at the Poly?
