So today was a great day, because we officially hit the point where we can say "We're leaving on friday" rather than "We;re leaving in 2 weeks, we're leaving on the 8th, we're leaving soon" It feels so great!! Tomorrow is a day off so all the laying out for packing is going to get done which is very exciting!! Here is what we plan on doing next Thursday!!

Mom and dad are coming back from the cruise, but until then, David and I plan on being in Epcot!! We're not sure if we're gonna sleep in and just do WS, I guess it depends on how we feel!! Especially with that new Kim Possible thing, we definitely want to maximize this area!! But a part of me would miss Soarin/Test Track/Future World etc, so we'll see how we feel.

David and I love Beaches and Cream and we always plan a CS-credit break here! We will get over there for lunch and hopefully mom and dad will meet us there! They will have checked in at the AKL by now (I believe they get off the ship by 9 so are predicting to be in the park by 12 or 1) we'll continue Epcot until its time for a break and head back our seperate ways (we are still at the WL) we have dinner reservations at Chef Mickeys!! Mom and dad have never eaten here for dinner but dad loves buffets and we enjoy the character interaction here! Than its time to high tail it to DHS for fantasmic!! Since we're getting there so early, we want to see the first showing, but if we miss it or its too crowded we can always fall back to the second showing (they recently added another one, which is nice but what does that say about expected crowd levels? )

Either way, I can't wait!!

I'm reading and I'll be at Walt Disney World in 6 days too! The report from your trip with your brother was great. I'm looking forward to getting back from my trip and reading about what you did while you were there.

I've read so many good things about this, and there were many people lined up to do it when we went in March. Adults say they enjoyed doing it without kids, so I think we're going to give it a try in July. Even if Brooklynn is too young to do it, I'd like to do it for us, just to see exactly what it's all about. Your kids are at perfect ages to enjoy it!

Thanks to everyone for all of your replies. As we begin to wrap up this pre-trip report I really appreciate all of the people out there who read and those who commented almost every day! I hope that when the trip report starts we'll see you there! A lot of you have been here since the trip before this and even the trip before that, and thats what i love about it here, we're almost like a dis-family

In a sense we're lucky because at least if we miss the first one we have the second, but what is disney thinking in terms of crowds??

The great switcheroo...
I have mixed feelings about this day because it is the day we switch the AKL. I love the AKL and love staying at the same hotel as my parents but on the other hand, I just hate the thought of leaving my beloved WL!

David and I will wake up from our last WL sleep and have bell services transfer the luggage over, I love this, SO convenient.

The name of the game today is DHS rope drop. We will have had our EMH here one night earlier, but who knows what we'll get done?? I think the plan in any case is always going to be FP TSM (duh!) ride RnR, ToT, and than mosey back towards TSM. Mom and dad haven't decided if they are tagging along behind us, coming with us to rope drop, going to a whole nother park, who knows either way they are driving me crazy with the indecisiveness I know for a fact I want to see beauty and the beast (its still open right??) I thought it had closed last time we were there so i missed it, and therefore have never seen it!! One of my favorite disney movies!! We want to work in American Idol too!! We are a big AI family (as lots out there know ) so this is going to be very fun! I'm also a big animation academy fan, so I want to get over there too despite davids protests.

At break time david and I will head on over and check in to AKL!

Is it just me or is checking in one of the greatest feelings. It's so exciting not knowing where your room is, hoping for an upgrade, hoping for a great room etc, I love it!! We didn't link our room with mom/dads so lets see if we are close or far.

After breaking its time for one of our faves and yours, dinner at Le Cellier!! food porn time, yummmmmmy!

It's EMH at epcot so we will sure use that nap at the AKL! I could go for a little pool side lounging right about now! We'll maximize our time as a family tonight at EMH hopefully even though it can be slightly on the crowded side. In my experience EMH (depending on park and season) is definitely less crowded than mid-day in the park but more crowded than rope drop. Lets see what we can get done!!
