Find that amazon has the brother LS2125i sewing machine for only $59 today, this is the lowest price on it. Is this a good one to buy for beginner? I plan to buy a sewing machine at this black friday. Wait or this one?
Are you a beginner in the sense that you never used a sewing machine or are in a beginner the sense that you have used one in the past and just want to start sewing again? Do you have someone to show you how to thread the machine, help with making a bobbin, and adjust tension? If not and you are totally new with sewing, I would purchase the least expensive machine from a local sewing dealer. You will be able to have the dealers help in explaining to you how to use the machine. If you have used a sewing machine in the past, then this looks like a good machine for a beginner. The reviews did state that manual was a bit a confusing so some background knowledge will be helpful. I personally am hoping for the Brother CS6000i for Christmas. Amazon has a great price ($145). I like that it has an automatic buttonhole maker (the four way buttonhole maker can be a bit of a pain). It has an automatic needle threader (so need that!). Take a look at this machine on Amazon. It might be better to upgrade to this one if you are thinking of sewing a lot. Good luck and feel free to "pm" me with any sewing questions.
