Jill: where did you get the shirts for the girls when you made the shirts?? I went to michaels and they only had onesies for Caleb's size and the smallest youth was a small which was 6-8 which is till too big for my nephew who is 3! Also what kind of transfer sheets did you use?? I am looking for regular t shirts (not onesies)

I bought their shirts at Target. I used AVery brand transfers that I got at Walmart.

when you flew southwest last, did you have to pay to check in online?? Can you still do regular online check in for free 24 hrs beforehand..this extra $10 per person/per way...is it just to get better priority seating before the regular 24 hr time period?? I hope I don;t have to pay $40 just to get seats together since we will have a toddler it will be very important to sit together!

No you don't have to pay to check in online. It is only if you want to check in earlier than the 24 hour window. They load the A group and then parents with children under 6 and then the B group and C group so you will still get to load early and get seats together.

Yea for Brooklynn's first Soarin' ride! I was scared of it the first time I rode because of the heights....
Now it's one of my favorites! Tell her to pretend to catch that golf ball when it comes her way. That's the way I prepare myself for it!

We had some unexpected company today, too. At least they were unexpected to me. Jill knew about them. Dawn, Erica, and Dawn's friend, Erin, showed up bearing some beautiful flowers. They stayed to talk for a while, and we enjoyed talking about babies and Disney and other things and had some good laughs. I very much enjoyed their visit and appreciated their thoughtfulness in taking time from their day.

it was so good to see you all and i'm very happy that you're feeling even better today. i'm back home now and had a great visit.

everyone else - i took some really cute pics of bella and brooklynn and i will have them all posted on my TR soon. i will post the link here so you guys can check them out too!

SO happy that she got to ride! and the thumbs up is so cute. i remember watching luke while we were riding and his little face was so fun to see!

Great character pics. The one with Bella and Minnie was great. Also enjoyed the Epcot ones. SO glad Brooklyn could ride Soarin. Cayley was to short back in May. She will be fine for our next trip! Glad you are feeling better. Hope tomorrow goes well.

I'm so glad that you are feeling better and you got to see your girls. Just wanted to let you both know that I've loved reading your trip report. Sadly, I don't think my Kate (who's also 3) will go on Soaring as she has become very frightened of a lot of the rides at Disney when we went in May.

I'm glad you're feeling better Memom. Congrats to Brooklynn on getting to ride Soarin'! Isn't it the greatest (except the golf ball of course ). I really enjoyed the pictures of the girls with the characters. So cute. Especially the one with Belle and Brooklynn. I love Crush, so it was fun seeing him too. I'm really enjoying all the pictures. And I must say that casserole dish sounds good too.

Check Walgreens - my daughter had to demonstrate tye-dying for a class she was taking and I bought several there. I did see kids sizes as well, but I'm not sure how small they had. They were really inexpensive (cheap!)

Hurray to 40 inches for Brooklyn. We measured Abby on Saturday and she was 39 1/2 inches. She has two months to grow 1/2 inch or I may use your bow idea. I think she would love Soarin like Brooklyn did.

I'm with you on hoping for no subs. There are very few rides that I will not ride, but that would have to go right to the top of the list. How exciting that Brooklyn was tall enough for Soarin! I hope to get my mom on it for the first time next week.

It may not be subs. If it's just a dark ride, I'm all for it!

Awww, Brooklynn's first Soarin' ride! I'm so glad that she was tall enough. The golf ball still scares me, even though I know it's coming.

I remember how funny Jarvis was when he rode it the first time. He flinched and said, "Wait a minute now!" I believe.

I hope your first day back to school is going well. It sounds like your friends and family really took good care of you will you were recovering. I enjoyed seeing all your pictures of the girls with the characters. Yay for Brooklynn being tall enough for Soarin'. I am glad she liked most of it. It scared my son last year. Soarin' was the first ride we did and I think that made him scared to try other things. Maybe he will like it better this year. I hope Brooklynn is able to ride the other rides she has been waiting for when you go back.

I LOVE the pictures of Brooklynn at Soarin! She looked sooooo excited, I love the hands on her hips, giant grin one!!! Too darn cute!!

I was looking at the stuff about the fantasyland refurb and it looked, to me at least, like the Little Mermaid ride was going to be cars ala Finding Nemos clam-mobiles. But I could be wrong!!

I love all the figment pictures, I do wish they would go back to the original show the picture at the end was always fun.

It is so nice to picture shop I noticed several items that might be fun presents for birthday or Christmas for my nieces or nephews.

I enjoy shopping, and a lot of people have written that the pictures do kind of give them an idea of what they want to get when they go, so I'm glad they help. I wish I could get more price tags, but when I get that close, the camera gets blurry, and I'm not smart enough to know how to fix that.

Look at her little face, it says, "Please let me on this ride!" Such an adorable picture!

She really didn't know what Soarin' was, so the excitement was more for our sakes than hers on that one. She was riding along on our excitement. Dinosaur - that was all her. She wanted to ride that one badly!

Hooray! Brooklynn looks so excited about he Soarin ride (except the golf ball of course!)

Doug was very excited to see all of his favorite parts of Epcot with me this afternoon.

Now that Brooklynn know what Soarin' is about, she is ready to ride again.
