Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Good Morning Memom! Checking in today as we got internet to tell you we are at your FAV POP! We are in the 50's overlooking the Bowling Pin Pool. We LOVE it! Perfect weather, not too many crowds...and that TIE DYE CC is to DIE FOR! Yum, but no looking back....ahem We can see how you guys love this place. BTW, we will be attending a DIS Pool Party on the 25th....ran into some Dissers who have been sooooo nice, they were departing and gave us ALOT of water bottles, and stuff they didn't need. Hopefully, we'll check in again before the end of next week.

Awesome! It makes me feel close to 'home' to know you are there. Don't you love it? I want to be walking around there this morning.

That's great that you met nice Disers. Every Diser we've met so far has been so nice, too!

Have an awesome time, and check in when you can! I'm so glad the weather and crowds are being good to you!

We have a Wii and LOVE it! They are releasing a new game on September 15th - TOY STORY MANIA!!!!! It is based on the ride at Hollywood Studios. I have already preordered mine and can't wait to play it!

I didn't know that! We'll certainly be picking it up!

Brooklynn's party looked absolutely adorable. Everything was SO cute and well-themed. The cake turned out great and the jellyfish decorations were so creative.

You two really need to go into the party planning business!

The Nemo party looked awesome. My DD is a huge fan of Nemo and was looking over my shoulder while I was reading-she fell in love with the jellyfish and now wants to make her room look like it is underwater and hang up some jellyfish! Yall always have the cutest ideas!

I might have to pre-order the TSM Wii game as well -- my brother works at a game store so I'll have to ask if he can do it for me. It might be good practice for when we go in February -- I am not normally a competitive person but my dad is pretty good at bringing out that side in me.

I waited outside Crystal Palace while Jill nursed and changed Bella. The castle show was going on, so I zoomed in on it.

I love the part where all the princesses are dancing with their guys.

Donald always has some adventure going on.

There are always birds around this area.

My next Disney collage will be of water features, so I took many fountain, stream, lake, etc. pictures to choose from.

One last glance at the castle, and we were ready to go in.

Inside, we were escorted to our table, which was sprinkled with birthday confetti, since Brooklynn was about to turn three.

My buddy, Eeyore, was the first to greet us.

Then we ran in shifts to get food. I love the food here!

Piglet was next.

Is there any wonder why Eeyore and I have a bond? He's camera shy, too.

Someone forgot their green veggies.

When it came time for ice cream, Brooklynn was thrilled to put her own sprinkles on!

She felt like such a big girl!

Shifts change, rotation gets messed up, I guess, but we get more Piglet.

And more Eeyore, but as you can see, with the repetitiveness looking like a habit, the ice cream won out.

Now we get some Tigger, which we have not seen yet, so he gets her attention.

Jill gets in with Bella, too.

During the parade, Brooklynn tried to participate a little, but she always gets very reserved and is not sure what to do, so she mostly stands up and hangs out near the table. She's going to get the hang of it in the next few trips, I'm sure, and then she'll be all up in the middle of them!

After a couple of plates of food each and some of those good desserts, we were ready to go. There was one thing stopping us, though. We had not seen Pooh. Just minutes after we got there, he had come up to our table, spread his arms, and as we rose, he was whisked away by a handler.

No problem. That's happened before at other places, and we understand the character just needs to get to other tables and will be back. But, during the whole time we had eaten, Pooh had not even returned to that side of the room for anyone. The waiter said he was on his way, so I took Bella and walked to the other side of the restaurant to see about how long it would be.

There was no sign of a Pooh on that side either, so I was just hanging out around the Tigger topiary when a CM noticed Bella and her Lil Sissy Crystal Palace shirt Jill had made. She commented in it and asked if we'd enjoyed our meal. I assured her we had, and told her we were just waiting on Pooh and we'd be heading out. I kind of told her that we'd seen the others numerous times, but that there must be some miscommunication going on, since Pooh had never shown up. I said it very nicely, of course, no complaining, we were just going to wait, but she said she'd find him for us right then.

She did.

As you can see, Bella's patience had worn a little thin, but the rest of us were cool.

We were given two special passes for any rides we wanted, since we had hung around and waited and lost park time. We never asked for anything; they just offered them, and we were happy to have them!

Photobucket is doing crazy things. I don't know if this will show up or not, but it looks like I'll be doing it in spurts tonight.

Great pics of Pooh and friends! Food looks wonderful! Owen was waving at Pooh on the screen. Cracks me up, he wanted nothing to do with them while we were there.

Jill got the paci in Bella's mouth long enough to get an autograph and a picture, and we were on our way.

As we went down toward the hub, we saw the Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! parade coming along.

You know we have a girl who LOVES to dance!

With one of our special passes, Brooklynn wanted to ride Buzz Lightyear, so to Tomorrowland we went.

Brooklynn rode with me and loved shooting her own gun with a little help.

Betcha didn't know they could be that low. Mine was actually zero for most of the trip, because I was taking pictures and helping Brooklynn, but I figured I needed to laser something real quick and get a point or two to show on our picture. If I had really tried and not taken any pictures, I probably could have scored at least 300!

MeMom! You're grading stuff?! I used to love doing that when I was helping the 1st grade teachers for my Co-op job my Senior year in high school.

Dad was looking at your Crystal Palace pics with me. He thinks Brookie and Bella look adorable with the characters...our favorite is the one with Eeyore! Okay question for you: do you think breakfast, lunch, or dinner would be best to take the little guy there?

Bella seems like she did pretty well with the characters!

I love the CP pictures -- we haven't eaten there in years, and I think that is one of the places my mom is considering when we go.

The parade looks so cute! We caught a little bit of it by accident, when we were either trying to leave MK or make our way across the park.

Back to WDW... how nice that the Crystal Palace folks extended some magic for your waiting for Winnie.

Great pictures as usual MeMom! Bella looks like she was really enjoying the characters right up until the end there when she got a little fussy. For an infant, shes doing so well!! Of course we know Brooklynn loves the characters

I really enjoyed the Move It Shake It Celebrate It parade! Such cute interaction between the dancers and characters with the people watching. I love the big float presents too. Can't wait to hear and see more!
