Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

I think it did get lighter today! :)

Christmas decorations and a birthday celebration - that would be tempting!

That's good.
I know I'm just waiting on DHs work schedule. We should no in the next couple weeks the hotel won't be a problem and were driving. I think I'm going to make a few ADRS and just cancel if I have to.
Also if MVMCP starts the 10th and so do the obsorne lights do you think the castle and main street we'll be decorated? Also the jingle jammin' parade or the ecpot stuff? Also each parks big tree?
Oh and the cinderella castle lighting show I saw it in your thanksgiving TR and it looks so so magical.

What a nice surprize...to get a visit from Punkin & Vandyfan. You should take a pic of the flowers so we can all see. ;)

Seems like you are getting some good advice on here about your recovery.
I'm glad you had a better day.

WOW! The new plans at MK are so excitting! I can't wait to see! :yay:
Little Mermaid is one of my favorites too....and I am secretly wishing for the underwater subs....sorry MeMom...:rotfl:

I had no idea this was in the works. I will welcome any changes!

Take it easy, no crazy trips to the mall. You need to ELEVATE! :goodvibes

I enjoyed the pics of Character Connection, I've never been inside. Looks very cool with the backgrounds.

The cassarole sounds yummy, I may have to give it a try. :thumbsup2

Sweet dreams of Disney trips to come!

Can't wait to hear about your experience with Crush. That is one of my favorites. It's a must do again next time, it's just too cute and of course never the same.

The pics of the kids with the characters are GREAT!!

The character connection pictures are so cute! I had a great experience there in 2007 with Chip and Dale (my favourite characters) I love Bella's onesie, is that Nemo on it? :cutie:

Its so nice that your surgery is behind you and healing ahead. Now there will be nothing hampering your walk about next month. Bring on the good times.:cool1:

I would think if the parties have started everything would be decorated. I read somewhere (don't know if it's true) that Osborne Lights were opening mid-November again this year. Last year they were later, and I know a lot of people were sure disappointed in not seeing them. I just know what I read on the DIS, so stay tuned to the Theme Parks Board and maybe all of your questions will be answered soon. If I read anything, I will let you know.

Jill did get a picture, so maybe she'll put that up for us soon. I meant to get her to load it onto my computer last night, but then we got busy with company and it was bedtime after that.

If subs make you guys happy, I'm all for it. That's just a ride I'll have to sit out. There needs to be something for everyone, so for all of you people who love to enclose yourself in death chambers and submerge yourself underwater...I bid you much fun on this ride if that is what it turns out to be.

Play around with the casserole and make it what your family likes. It's a popular favorite here. You could go with a can of cream of chicken or mushroom and half a can of cream of celery, too. I've done that before. It just depends on what your bunch likes.

Jill and I may have talked a little Disney this weekend. :)

I think I'm going to put some more pictures up, catch up on other reports, and then get a nap.

Chip and Dale are fun fellas!

I have to go back and look, but I think she did have on Nemo clothes that day.

Just gotta build the stamina back up. Everything is exhausting right now, but it will be a joy to walk very soon. I expect to get the 'all clear' from the doctor on Tuesday's visit. My hip kind of hurts, I guess from holding my body funny, and my calf muscle cramps a lot, but it just needs to be worked back into use.

Okay, dudes and dudettes, it's time to surf the EAC!

First, we spent some time with Mr. Ray's friends.

IMG_0485.jpg

Brooklynn made a friend.

IMG_0488.jpg

Bella was uninterested.

IMG_0489.jpg

Crush was fun and funny, as always.

IMG_0491.jpg

Sometime during the show, Bella woke up to see a very large turtle talking to her.

IMG_0493.jpg

According to my pictures, it was then breakfast time.

IMG_0494.jpg

Brooklynn was pleased to make the cut for Soarin'!

IMG_0495.jpg

The bow poofed her hair up enough that she was maybe a centimeter under the line if you were actually standing there looking, but they let her in, and we were happy!

IMG_0496.jpg

IMG_0497.jpg

I had claimed 'dibs' on Brooklynn's first Soarin' ride long ago, so John kept Bella while Jill, Brooklynn, and I went first.

IMG_0499.jpg

Brooklynn wasn't really sure what the excitement was all about, but she was still excited.

She watched what little aviators were supposed to do,

IMG_0501.jpg

and gave the thumbs up when she was ready.

IMG_0503.jpg

We mostly watched Brooklynn's face during the ride, so there were no pictures. She liked all of it except the golf ball part. After we finished, she rode with Jill and John and I held Bella.

It had been a fun morning, and we were happy Brooklynn could finally join us in our love for Soarin'.

Except the golf ball part.

She will tell you that every time.

Random duck in flowers picture.

I'm with you on hoping for no subs. There are very few rides that I will not ride, but that would have to go right to the top of the list. How exciting that Brooklyn was tall enough for Soarin! I hope to get my mom on it for the first time next week.

Jill decided she would feed Bella while the rest of us went to visit with Figment.

We got stuck here for several minutes, so the visit was longer than expected. I texted Nicole, I think, from in here while we were stuck.

Jill met us in the gift shop and Brooklynn did some of the activities.

Since Brooklynn was going to have a Nemo birthday party, we went back over to the Seas and checked out the gift shop a little more for things we might want for that.

I thought for a moment about getting dolphin earrings, but I didn't.

I don't remember what, if anything, we got.

:cool1: I'm so happy that Brooklynn was able to go on Soarin! :woohoo: I didn't really like the golf ball part either! Dude, Great pictures of Crush as well!

Awww, Brooklynn's first Soarin' ride! I'm so glad that she was tall enough. The golf ball still scares me, even though I know it's coming. :rotfl:

I love all the figment pictures, I do wish they would go back to the original show the picture at the end was always fun.

It is so nice to picture shop I noticed several items that might be fun presents for birthday or Christmas for my nieces or nephews.

Hooray! Brooklynn looks so excited about he Soarin ride (except the golf ball of course!)

Doug was very excited to see all of his favorite parts of Epcot with me this afternoon.

Loved the updates MeMom!! How exciting that Brooklynn got to finally ride Soarin!!!! IN the coming trips she will learn to love it even more, even the golf ball part!!!!!

Loved the merchandise pictures as always...one of my favorite parts of your report!!

Hope you are feeling better today!

i love your TR!!
really enjoying all of the pictures.
and i was at WDW the same time as you and i saw you guys walking through the lobby at the WL on 8/1, i think you guys may have been checking in. :]

Memom:

when you flew southwest last, did you have to pay to check in online?? Can you still do regular online check in for free 24 hrs beforehand..this extra $10 per person/per way...is it just to get better priority seating before the regular 24 hr time period?? I hope I don;t have to pay $40 just to get seats together since we will have a toddler it will be very important to sit together!

I'm so glad Brooklynn got to ride Soarin' and that she enjoyed it. Except for the golf ball part. :lmao: That scares me, too!

Denise

How special to experience Brooklyn's first ride on Soarin'! Love her thumbs up sign. What a fun morning at Epcot!! :)

So glad Brooklynn got to ride Soarin' and loved it (except for the golf ball part.) :thumbsup2

I'm not a huge fan of Figment so I give you a lot of credit for getting stuck in there!

Glad to hear you're feeling better, day by day. Soon, you'll feel good as new!
