Thoguht these things might make your recovery a little easier!

Pain pills can definately cause a stomachache, nausea, and sometimes vomiting! (I should know I am a pharmacist). We have so many people tell us that they are allergic to them because they got sick.....it's a side effect....not an allergy.

Make sure to eat something or drink a glass of milk before each pain pill to lessen the sickness! It might not totally decrease it but it will definately help!

Only one pain pill today, so I think by tomorrow I should be good to go. When I go back to school Monday, I suppose I might have to take another one, since I'll be moving around a lot, but we'll see how it goes. It was nice to hear from an expert on the situation.

To everyone who was interested in the casserole, it was a chicken casserole - the one with sour cream and cream of mushroom (or chicken) soup and Townhouse cracker topping. She also brought green beans and a chocolate cake. So, between that, the lasagna from last night, and the Cracker Barrel card, we are in great shape for food!

We had some unexpected company today, too. At least they were unexpected to me. Jill knew about them. Dawn, Erica, and Dawn's friend, Erin, showed up bearing some beautiful flowers. They stayed to talk for a while, and we enjoyed talking about babies and Disney and other things and had some good laughs. I very much enjoyed their visit and appreciated their thoughtfulness in taking time from their day.

I also got a couple of cards from DIS friends. Thank you guys for your good thoughts, as well. It was so sweet of you to send your good wishes.

Jill has been a great help since she's been here. She can get up and down to get a bottle of water faster that I can get up period. Really, I just love having her here, even if she's not helping at all. ;)

We didn't even attempt the Disney Store. It would have been more than Jill could have handled to get all three of us in! :)

moparop, Jill had been reading earlier in the day about the expansion of Fantasyland. I'm thrilled about the Little Mermaid ride, but if it goes under like the old subs, I'll be thrilled just taking pictures from above ground!

Star Tours 3D sounds great, too!

I'm seriously excited for the new Little Mermaid ride!! Ariel is my girl! So exciting! It sounds like it's going to be like the one they are building in Disneyland to me...but maybe I'm wrong. :confused3

That very first picture of Brooklynn going up to Mickey, I can't get over how tall she looks!

MeMom I'm so glad you are feeling better and enjoying all your company!!

The pictures of the girls meeting the characters were just wonderful to look at. The smiles on Brooklynn's face and the hugs...what a great time you all must have had!!!

OOOH...I'm very excited about all these changes, it will be fun to return and see them in the future!!!!! A bigger and pretty Fantasyland is a long time coming!

That chicken casserole, green beans and chocolate cake sound wonderful! I'll have to see if I can find the recipe for that casserole (unless someone has it :goodvibes ).

I was so excited when I saw the announcement about the changes to Fantasyland! I called Clay over to check out the new Dumbo and other plans. He was no where near as excited as I was.

Jill: where did you get the shirts for the girls when you made the shirts?? I went to michaels and they only had onesies for Caleb's size and the smallest youth was a small which was 6-8 which is till too big for my nephew who is 3! Also what kind of transfer sheets did you use?? I am looking for regular t shirts (not onesies)

But I am sad they are taking out mickey and minnie's house's to make room!! They are apparently getting new homes near the entrance but I bet they won;t be the same! :sad2: But I am really glad we get a chance to go see them one more time before they are gone!! :woohoo:

The news about Fantasyland and Star Tours is very, very exciting!!! I can't wait!!! :goodvibes

That particular casserole is one of my favorites!!! I use cream of chicken instead of cream of mushroom, but it is delicious!!!

How sweet of Dawn and Erica to stop by!!!

Sounds like a great day... good food and company! Rest and perhaps drop some more Disney pics our way;)

Brooklynn calls Ariel 'Ariel girl'.

Brooklynn is tall enough now that I don't think there will be any question on the 40 inch height rides.

MeMom I'm so glad you are feeling better and enjoying all your company!!

I definitely enjoyed the company. We had more cousins over tonight and the kids had a great time.

Sounds like Fantasyland has some bigtime construction heading its way.

It's just chicken, cream soup, and sour cream. When I make mine, I add cooked rice to make it stretch a little further. Then you top it with butter coated Ritz or Townhouse crackers. You can add shredded cheese in it, too, if you like. It's just one of those things you can play with to your taste.

I think a nice indoor queue for Dumbo will be great!

Jill has gone to bed with Brooklynn. I'll tell her to answer you in the morning.

It will be interesting to watch all of the changes unfold. I bet I'll be taking lots of pictures along the way. :)

I'm sure there will be some changes that Disers will love and some we won't think are so great. Change is just a part of things, though, so we'll just roll with the bad and be excited for the good.

Trent loves it, too. I think he has eaten a good portion of this one already, and he was only here half the day.

it was very thoughtful of them. I was very surprised to see them walking in the door!

Glad you are feeling better MeMom! The new updates look awesome!

Wonder if we'll see hints of any changes in October?

Sounds like a great day... good food and company! Rest and perhaps drop some more Disney pics our way;)

The food and the company were both wonderful. I will probably sleep well tonight. Maybe I can get up some more pictures in the morning. We'll see what's going on next at Epcot.

Very exciting news day and glad to hear you are feeling better! I spent my day off wrapped in a Snuggie and making iron on shirts for our trip! Is Jill planning on making more shirts for your October trip? If she does, she HAS to use these transfers that Amy (here on the boards) sells! They are fantastic! I'll be posting pics of my creations today which feature her transfers!

Could you send that recipe my way?

See what I wrote to jillyb above. The rice I use is just a box of chicken flavored rice, and it makes the casserole go futher without changing the flavor. With boys and friends of boys hanging out here, I'm all about stretching things for cheap. I know some people add almonds to theirs, too. Just play with it. As long as you have the chicken, the soup, and the sour cream, whatever else you want to add is up to you.

Hi memom,
Sorry I haven't been in for a while I haven't had much dis time.
I'm glad to hear the surgery went well. I hope the 200 pound leg loses some weight.
Dr. Jill brought over some great medicine. I'll have to give her a call:rotfl2:
Also the new fantasy land sounds so cool. I'm so excited.
Oh and I'm thinking about canceling my Oct trip.

And moving it to nov 10-16 This way we'll be there for christmas time again and Emily's birthday:banana:

I think it did get lighter today! :)

Christmas decorations and a birthday celebration - that would be tempting!
