thanks for the pics from the disney art store. i love that place! maybe one day i'll hit the lottery (even though i only play once in a blue moon) and be able to actually buy a few pieces from there.

Jill very carefully went over all the things Brooklynn was supposed to do if she got lost:
Go to a counter and find a grown-up with a name tag or find a mommy with a stroller or with boys and girls with her. Tell them, "My parents are lost," and show them your necklace.

Then, she asked Brooklynn to retell that.

Brooklynn looked at her, swerved her head down in a shy pose, stuck out her necklace and said, "My perrents is lost."

Awww, I love the WL pin with the totem pole! I wish they had that when we stayed there last year. I would have gotten that one.

I really can't wait to try Wolfgang Puck Express, all the food looks and sounds so yummy!

Great update! I saw several things I would like. I saw lots of new things in the store from the time we went until you went. My bank account is probably glad I didn't see some of this stuff!

Now I need to get off the computer and get some cleaning and done while Owen is napping...he took an early nap this morning.

Oh I am so glad we got to shop this morning! We recently set up a tight budget here so that hopefully our Disney trip can move up a little, so I am going through withdrawl! Those bracelets are darling! Do they have Disney touches too? I am also loving the "It's a Small World" figurines -- but I bet those would REALLY not fit into our new budget!

Can you imagine having all your friends at Disney for a Bday party at Goofy's?? I am not sure I can think of anything much better than having all the people I am close to at Disney for a birthday. So fun! I love the Brooklynn photos with her hands on her hips - such a big girl! I love the ID necklace! It's such a fun way to handle what could be a potentially scary moment.

WPE has been on my list of places to try as well. Hopefully next time you can eat the whole meal while it is warm!

Hannah and I enjoyed your shopping pics! Hannah drooled over the candy and got very excited over the toys. She loved Brooklynn's Bambi shirt, the loot from the mystery bag (particularly the key chain), the ponies and the playsets.

Great shopping pics. I have one of the frames you pictured. We missed the Pooh store and the under $10 one. We hit DTD in the rain and then our last morning when it was packed! I like the necklace idea. And the mystery bag. Great updae overall.

As I complete the last minute stuff in preparation for the students arrival, its great to get Disney retail therapy!

I put up my poster from last year's trip, finally. It is the black background "importance of Character" one. Very appropriate for middle schoolers I think. I will also be getting out my new Tink bag for Tuesday!

Awww nothing beats a rainy morning than enjoying some of MeMom's retail therapy!! It was a great way to start my day!! I just love going shopping with you!!!

I have spent two very special birthdays in Disney World with all of my kids, and you are right, it is the best!

I don't see Mickey heads on any of those bracelets in the pictures, but I will look closer next time. They are just colorful and so cute, I thought, but I only wear earrings. Bracelets and necklaces bother me, so it's safe for me to look at those, because I know I won't buy any. At least for myself.

Yes, I think you'll enjoy checking out Rafiki's, and you'll probably get some character pictures with no trouble.

I didn't know research food had no calories, but since that is the case, you cannot imagine the research I plan to be doing in October!

You could spend so much time just in DTD. It does get crowded there when it rains.
