I forgot to say that we met up with Katie and Ryan outside Magic Kingdom last night. What a sweet little couple they are! Also, I finally crossed paths with 5boyz tonight as I was coming in at Pop. We could only talk a minute, though, because I was on my way up the room to meet the luggage guy who was coming to pick up the two refrigerators that Jill signed up for. I felt bad that I didn't have the girls here so that she could see Bella and Brooklynn, and I hate that we couldn't talk for more than two minutes. It was just bad timing, since I didn't want to leave the luggage guy hanging around outside my door up here thinking I had played some trick on him or something!
Okay, I've got to call it a night. I have to get Drew up and running in the morning, since he has to make his way over to WL. I'm meeting Jill and crew at the boat dock. Good night for real this time!
P.S. Wigd, the jelly rings were a hit tonight! We were saving the for Illuminations, but we never got to it (horrible, I know), so we pulled them out for the EWP. Brooklynn loved them! Thanks for sending them.
I'm glad all of you guys have been getting your cards. I sent to everyone I had an address for, so if yours hasn't arrived, we'll keep our fingers crossed.
Oh yeah, Bella finally met Cinderella today, Day Nine, , and Brooklynn met the Steps! Fun stuff!
I am sad your trip is almost over, but hope you enjoyed every second. I am sure going with two little ones was totally different, yet so wonderful. Eagerly waiting updates.... enjoy MK one last time!
Waking up in magic for the last time for this trip. A farewell morning walk is not to be, as I am saving what leg I have left for another jaunt through Fantasyland this morning with my baby girls. Some mornings, it hurts so bad to stand for the first time that it makes me sick to my stomach. This was one of those mornings, so I think Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head will understand if I don't go over and tell the goodbye.
I've got to get this computer packed away and put the cords and whatever belongs to Pop back in the back for the next person who wishes to keep in contact with the outside world while they are here. Tonight, someone else will be in this room excited about the first night of their trip, and that thought gives me happiness as we leave. I hope they enjoy it every bit as much as we did!
Anyway, we'll check in with you guys again from Tennessee headquarters. Trent may put up another picture or two as they get on the road, but I'm not sure. His phone was being a little ill last night. He was saying something about it not doing something right, but I don't know if it was the pictures or what.
Keep us in your prayers as we all travel home today by car and plane. Pray that we make it home safely so that we can enjoy sharing for many years ahead all of the memories we have made during the last ten days.
Memom...GOSH those 10 days did fly by! I felt you were just in camp and on your way. Why is it like that? We always feel like that, too! Maybe an even longer trip in the future should be planned
Glad it was a GREAT vacation for all of the Memom family! Many thanks to Trent and Co. for keeping us updated on his FB (we all appreciate that!) Safe travels home....we cannot wait for this trippie to get us thru the Fall season! All the best!
Wow, I can't believe you are already on your last day at Disney! Time sure does fly faster in Orlando - it wasn't moving that fast here at work! I can't wait to see all your pictures and hear about your travels!
I can remember so clearly that feeling I had the day we had to leave. It stinks! It's like that sick feeling that you have in the pit of your stomach while waiting for the doctor. But hooray for the ceiling fan! I have always wished that hotels had ceiling fans. It is hard to sleep without one when you are used to it. Can't wait to see all of your pictures. It sounds like you had a blast!
