I just came over from Memom's spring break TR and thought I should say hello to Jill since this is the first time I will be reading about her Disney adventures! So hello Jill and girls! I am a SAHM and I also have a fantastic DD 5 (only one for me though). So I love reading about your adventures with your girls! Little girls are so much fun (high drama and maintenance, but fun!) Oh, and I am a southern girl too, so when I hear video clips, they don't sound funny to me at all!

Sorry I didn't post often on your other report, MeMom. I had surgery in May and then had a hysterectomy last week, so it has been hard just keeping up with the TRs that I read. I really haven't posted much at all. But now that all my medical drama is hopefully over, I will be better about chiming in! I can't wait to hear about all your fun adventures on this upcoming trip!! I know you are getting so excited!

Sorry about your bad news. I just got caught up with the TR and read about it all. I think we all take it for granted that we have more days ahead of us. That is why we need to live each day to the fullest. Stuff like that really makes you love and appreciate your family members a lot more.

These are the knome houses my DMom made out of tree stumps. The plants are a little overgrown due to all the rain we have had. Excuse the branch in the way...(we need to get out the weed whacker and do some cleaning up)

Good morning all! One week from right now we should be pulling up to POP! Two weeks from today we will be checkig into the Wilderness Lodge. We had a safe trip last night and got in about 11:30 last night. We have the reception stuff this afternoon at 1:30 and then the extended family is supposed to be coming over for dinner before heading back to Missouri.

Today's picture is from last summer. Brooke you will appreciate this one. Eating Casey's and waiting for Spectro!!!

I have officially closed out the other TR, so I'm settling in here for the long haul. I was without internet all day yesterday, and the guy has just fixed it. The outside line snapped in the wind yesterday. It runs through a tree, so I guess a branch caught it just right or something.

Since I was without internet and am in the midst of camp stuff, I am hope you guys will let me just start here and move forward, because I don't have the time right now to go back and do responses. It doesn't mean I love you any less, because I do love ya! I do want to welcome any new readers, and I hope you will feel free to be a real member of the group and not just a bystander. I think we have a lot of fun getting to know each other when everyone joins in, so please, if you feel comfortable with it, join in any time. If you don't, then just enjoy reading along and looking at pictures, and that's fine, too.

I won't be on here much at all this week because of camp. I'll probably check in early in the mornings and late at night. This will be a fun and uplifting week at camp, and then this time next week, we'll be sitting out by the kiddie pool at Pop, if the good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise!

I needed a hillbilly smiley there - one wearing overalls and missing some teeth!

This precious little girl was at my house last night for a few minutes as they drove through to KY. I wish I could bottle up the feeling I get when that little thing hugs my neck and I smell her sweet little 'scumscreamed' cheeks from where she's spent the day at water play. I would be on a 'high' all the time! And that little Bella, she's going to be running a marathon in about a year. She's as cute as a button and strong as an ox! She reminds me so much of Trent when he was a baby.

Speaking of Trent, he spent his evening sending me phone pictures of our nation's capital. He and lauren_elizabeth have become friends. She was here a few weeks ago, and now he's up there seeing her part of the world. I'm not sure that the Grand Old Opry can compete with the Lincoln Memorial. It was cool to get the pictures and know that he was standing right there. This is his third trip to D.C., and I have had none. Something is not right here!!!

I've got to run. Have a good day, all!

Pooksma - I think you are in Memphis right now. If it was any week but this one, we would ride down there and meet you, but it's impossible this week. I hate that!

You were right, I did enjoy it! He's a little baby doll. He reminds me of a boy at our church named Aaron. He's a teenager now, but Caleb looks a lot like Aaron did as a baby in that picture.
