I just smothered my little red head in kisses while thanking God a dozen times that he is healthy. I cannot even imagine the situation those parents have gone through....it just makes me want to weep when I think about it.

I don't know if I could have gone to that funeral either.

OK, I'm only caught up through pg. 4, but I just have to say... we have almost identical dates both in July & in December! We'll be at AKV-Kidani from 7/25-7/30, and then again from Dec. 27-Jan. 1. The July trip is our first anniversary, and the December trip will include my parents, DH's mom, and DH's brother... and we still have another room booked, so we may have more family along as well.

EDITED TO ADD: My thoughts and prayers go out to your friend's family... I can't even begin to imagine the heartbreak they're going through right now.

Maybe we'll run into each other this summer. You are more than welcome to join us on the Poly beach on New Years Eve for fireworks. It seems like we are going to have a pretty good group of Disers!

14 days to go or in John's terms L minus 14 days. (My engineer husband is such a geek! For those of you not in the now that stands for 14 days to launch.) Today's picture will bring back such great memories for us all. Let us all take a moment and remember last 4th of July.

Alright MeMom let's have it. I am such a mean mommy forcing my child against her will onto that mean vicious roller coaster only to laugh at her terror! That's it in a nutshell right. I still maintain that when we pointed it out to her she said she wanted to ride it and in this picture she does not look tortured.

3 weeks from today is probably the day all the boys are looking the most forward to. We have an ADR at Whispering Canyon which means the boys have a date with the all you can eat skillet (maybe we should call ahead and tell them they might want to prepare a couple extra dozen pounds of meat)! Then we get to go right upstairs to our rooms because today is also 3 weeks until we check into Wilderness Lodge!!!!!

Today is laundry and errand running day since we are out of town next weekend. John just pointed out that 2 weeks from right now we will be on the ME bus almost to Pop if not there already!!!!! I am also trying to get everything together for Brooklynn's birthday party since that is a week and a half after we get back. I want as much done as possible before we leave. Target's dollar spot has had a ton of Nemo stuff all summer and yesterday it was on clearance 50% off so after hitting 2 Targets I am just 4 stampers short of 20 goody bags. MeMom is checking her Target to see if she can get the last ones for me. Have a great Saturday everyone!!!!!

Jill I know exactly how you feel about the funeral yesterday. DH's cousin had a baby die of SIDs right after Emily was born. It was the most horrible thing to go to that funeral. They even had an open casket, and that is where I drew the line.... there was no way I could handle that or the burial. The mass was terrible enough. Yes we all need to hug our kids extra!


Yea for three weeks and getting birthday parties ready... I think we are doing Mickey Combo for Luke and Hannah, and I feel the pressure to get it done!

i remember brooklynn's barnstormers ride! that was great stuff. i wonder if she'll ride it this year? maybe if bubby goes on it with her she will be brave.

She did look a little unsure but I was expecting screaming and tears! She did very well for being so young...
Baylor rode that for the first time in March and he is 10, I tell ya! We ruined him by taking him on SM in '06, then coaxing him back on a couple of years later. He is not a fan of dark roller coasters.....

I would love that. We are at POP from July 27-Aug 3. I can't wait. My birthday i the 28th so we will both be celebrating our birthdays!
