Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

Sounds great to me!

That's a really nice Disney store you have there by you. We have a store in the mall about 25 mins west from us and then an outlet about 20 mins east from us but neither are that good.

I know how you feel about those snowglobes! :rotfl: You wouldn't do too well in my house then though because my mom collects them and has about 30 of them!

yeah I am not sure about snow globs in my house cuse I would be afried of my cats knocking them over

On a break again.....who knew it would be this quiet on a Saturday night....:)

Aww! Thank you so much for the pics! I can't believe you took pics of the Disney Store and hadn't even seen the post.

Lexi will be thrilled! She really misses the store.

Your store looks very cool, with all the great displays!

It's kindove good there isn't a store here I saw so many things I would buy!

The Stitch turkey is hilarious! I need that!

brittanyherndon To answer your question my DD is 9yrs. She has become a true Disney fan! (I wonder how she got that way?)

jillyb That would be so nice of you to take pics for her. She loves to see pics on here! you are so thoughtful. :goodvibes

Memom does Target have Disney Christmas stuff? We don't have one here.

Enjoy those sweet smells! Have a lovely evening! :flower3:

All caught up! I didn't have much DIS time this past week :sad2: Teachers give too much homework! Don't they know I need DIS time? :rotfl: Well now I'm catching up on what I've missed around here, and drinking soda out of a Pooh cup. And with Mickey shaped ice cubes! I bought a Mickey ice cube tray a few years ago :)

Those are ADORABLE!

Lots of Disney lovies.

034.jpg

I have sooo many of those. I love them! They keep me company when I can't be in Disney :cloud9:

Awww! Turkey Stitch is so cute!!!

The closest Disney Store used to be an hour away, but they put one in a closer mall, about 25 minutes away last year :woohoo: Which reminds me, I haven't been there in a while...hmmm maybe I need to go next weekend ;)

The Princess and the Frog stuff is awfully cute. I think some might end up under our Christmas Tree. I can't wait to take the girls!

BTW.. my husband signed us up for updates on the disney ticket for volunteering site. I think a day at MK might just happen!

While you were shopping at your Disney store, I was shopping online...
I think you had more fun!
Now I'm going back online for some of the cool things I just saw in your post. Thanks for the pictures, I really do miss our Disney Store!

It was fun, and the guy who checked us out was very personable. We had to just make ourselves get on out, though, before we spent any more money.

I have GOT to have that Jiminy Cricket ornament!

Isn't he cute? I pointed him out to Jill, because I'm a fan of the little guy myself. I have him on my classroom bulletin board. I came close to getting him, but I didn't. I did get something, but I'll wait until tomorrow and show you, because I forgot to take a picture before loading the others.

The one nearest us is not as cool as this one. This one is on the other side of town, but it's fun to go out there occasionally.

That would be bad to spend all that money and have them get broken.

I just figured I would take pictures for those who didn't have Disney Stores nearby, since I knew a lot of them had been shut down. It is good that I don't go to either of our stores too often, or I would be more broke than I already am.

Target does have Christmas things. I got two Minnie Mouse stockings for the girls. I'll show pictures of those tomorrow, too.

The girls ate chocolate chip cookies and watched UP, and the guys went out to Ghengis Grill, so it was nice.

Teachers also have too much homework. After they leave tomorrow, I still have to get grades averaged and progress reports ready to be turned in Monday.

Thos stockings are cute, but they were $25, and that was a little too much for me. I was happy with the ten dollar ones from Target.

Stitch is cute in his Thanksgiving attire, isn't he?

I'll show you who is sitting in my window at school this month that I think is pretty cute, too.

yeah I think that turkey stitch is cute 2

::yes:: :stitch:

It is cute. I thought that little jewelry box, where she is standing by the drawers and the frog is on top, was really cute.

I signed up, too. :) I hope you guys do get to go to MK for one day. It can still be an awesome trip! You already said Vero has a ton of stuff for the kids to do, right? One day at Magic Kingdom, then all the extras - maybe a campfire with Chip and Dale, mini-golf, a visit to AKL to see some animals, movies on the beach, and DTD. That's plenty.

Thank you for posting the Disney store pictures!!! I am gonna be visiting ours a week from this Monday!:thumbsup2 My mother wants to go by Hollie one of the princess dresses for Christmas! :goodvibes

True, teachers do have a lot of work. My english teacher said he had to spend all of Veteran's Day grading our papers :sad2:

My grandma is a former teacher! She taught first grade :)

I wouldn't pay $25 dollars for those either!

Awwww! Pooh! He's so cute!

Thanks for the walk through the Disney Store. We have one 10 minutes from our house, but I haven't been there since August. I think a trip over there this week sounds good!

It's about time to pull out the suitcases for you!

Already have :thumbsup2....have most all of my toiletries packed, my juice plus and prenatals :goodvibes and other small items ....now just waiting on the weather to see what clothes I will be needing. :cool2:

13 more sleeps!! Can't believe it!!!

Last week, I had a student come in on Tuesday and tell me she would be out on Friday. I asked her why. She said because she was sick.

:rotfl::lmao::rotfl: That is great!!!

The bean note is hilarious.....as is the hair one, but really for that one I don't understand :confused3

thanks for the pics from the disney store! we have one about 20 minutes away but i haven't been by there since i got my copy of snow white about a month ago. i need to go by there and check out the christmas stuff!

the more i see of the princess and the frog stuff, the more i think i'm gonna like it. i have always had this strange love of frogs and green is my favorite color! :upsidedow

I checked our local Disney store last week and again this week for baby clothes. Of course, my baby will NEED to have a wardrobe that includes Disney clothing! They had some cute Bambi stuff, but it didn't really grab me. I'm going to keep checking...I've got till March to find the perfect outfit!

They had a beautiful Cinderella dress. The Princess Tiana one was pretty, and of course exciting because it was new. You could see Belle's dresses in one of the pictures. Have fun shopping!

There is less grading to do in 2nd than there was in 3rd, so I am happy about that, but with all the testing we do, there is always some sort of paperwork to fill out.

Yeah, I was fine with my ten dollar Target stockings.

I meant to bring Thanksgiving Pooh home this weekend to join us for dinner, but I forgot. We do have Thanksgiving Mickey and Minnie and a coupe of their newly acquired cousins who will join us, though.

You would have fun seeing the Christmas things, I'm sure.

Thanks for sharing your trip to the Disney Store! We used to have two of them here, but they closed them both. :sad1:

I would be sad if they closed ours, too. We just keep our fingers crossed that they closed everything they were going to close when the take-over happened and everything that's still standing will hold out. We did have three, but they took out the one closest to us.

I know you are very excited. We're excited about seeing the castle in icicles again.

The note about the hair was a little strange...
as was the mother. ;)

I'm with you on the new movie. I'm ready for another hand-drawn old-fashioned Disney movie. I love the Pixar stuff, too - especially all the Toy Story ones, but I am excited about Princess and the Frog. It looks like a cute storyline, and I'm sure the music will be fun.

They don't have much for tiny babies at our stores here, but they have a better selection down in Disney World.

I wish they did too. Some day, I promise. :goodvibes

It's gotta happen sometime, right? :)
Are your kids so excited right now?

**************************

Since Jill will be with John's family next weekend, we're doing Thanksgiving here today. I don't mind at all not having 'the day'. We got to have the Disney Thanksgiving last year, and that was cool. They're not usually here on Thanksgiving Day anyway, because I like to just be flexible and work around when it works for everyone and John's mom is more particular about the actual days. She is more proper - set it out on a fancy table and do it on 'the day', and I am more, let's get together when it works for everyone and we'll be eating off of paper plates. Even though they will be coming back and spending time here during Thanksgiving weekend, Jill asked if we could just do it this weekend so they'd have more time to hang out. That works for me. :)

So, I am about to go start on a massive feast, Liberty Tree Tavern style. We'll share it with you guys later today. We hope you all have a beautiful autumn Sunday, too!

Leave it to Shocker to track down the Beans in My Ears song. :lmao:

I was at the Disney Store yesterday and saw most of that stuff (we were at the mall for my niece's scavenger hunt), but not the Turkey Stitch (he so would have come home with me). :( I did buy the Christmas CD, though, because everyone needs Mickey singing Rudulph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Pooh singing The 12 Days of Christmas.

Have a great Liberty Tree Tavern Thanksgiving meal today!!!

look!!!! i found the princess and the frog at disney world!

:rotfl2:

just a little joke. that's me (obviously...and i'm more of a villian than a princess) with the little tree frog erica and i found on the steps at pop on the way to the room after MNSSHP last year. he peed on me. so he wasn't an especially charming frog.
