Brooklynn takes Bella to meet Cinderella! Page 242 Downtown Disney

love love the last picture!!!!:goodvibes

Aren't they sweet? I hate not living closer to them so that I can kiss Bella's little cheeks or snuggle up and read a book with Brooklynn more often!

Awesome POP pics MeMom; especially the one of the dew on the branches! Love the happy, smiling Princesses!

I did go to Swan's TR to see what she's having!

Thanks.

We're so excited for Julie! I told her I wish we all lived close together so we could throw her a big DIS baby shower!

Thanks for the POP pictures, we'll be there next week for a long weekend - gotta get my Disney fix :wizard:

Lucky duck! How often do you go? When we are having withdrawal seizures in March, I may send you some money to send us a little Disney fix whenever you go. I picture myself wilting away much like the witch on Wizard of Oz when I have a free week and no Disney trip.

Wasn't this the day you did all four parks for your birthday?

They really have a lot of medical supplies! At the Beach Club I needed a razor (left mine at home :rolleyes1) and they had a teenie tiny medical section.

Both of my girls collect kooky pens, and they flipped when they saw these pictures! They have informed me that I must bring them some!

Denise

Yes, this is four parks day!!!! :dance3:
We start out at Epcot, which I will probably get to tomorrow night.

Looks like they are prepared if you come down with a cold. I didn't look at the prices, but I'm sure paying the price would be worth it if you got down there and discovered you had left your toothbrush, razor, or deodorant!

Which kooky pens do they like best? I didn't think about buying one while I was there, but now that I am back at home, they look kinda fun! :goodvibes

I love your early morning walk pictures! I don't think I've ever seen the Pop foodcourt that empty! Your girls look awfully pretty in orange and ready for a fun day!! :)

And I love to walk around taking them. :thumbsup2 I'll close out 2009 and open up 2010 with walks around Pop. :woohoo:

You have to be an early bird to get the short lines at Pop. ;)

Those little outfits were bright and cheerful, just like the girls.

I love the Pop pictures!! Its getting me more and more excited since I will be there soon!!!:goodvibes

Yes, you will! Is that where the whole gang (all of you guys that are meeting up) is staying?

What a wonderful Pop morning! Between yours and MEK's pictures today, I am craving a Pop stay.

I really can't wait to hear about the big Birthday extravaganza!

I crave a Pop stay about every day, LL. Whenever you go back with a baby, Pop will be a great place to stay. One day your very own little one is going to be running around in that very kiddie pool. And maybe someday, all of us and our little ones will enjoy a rockin' awesome new part of Pop if they do something fun across the lake. :thumbsup2

The birthday will start with Soarin', so it's great from the start! :cool1:

 "The Mr. and Mrs. of the manor."

LOVE that pic of Brookie and Bella. She is truly such a proud big sis. :)

Brooklynn adores Bella, and Bella smiles and laughs at everything Brooklynn does. I love to watch them interact.

I always love your early morning resort pics. With no one else around the whole place is just so peaceful!

What a wonderful treat to come back to the room to find those two beautiful little girls waiting there for you! :goodvibes

Yes, for there to be thousands of people there, the mornings are very quiet. At first, it's just me, the rabbits and ducks, and the cast members cleaning the pools, washing sidewalks, preparing breakfast, stocking shelves, trimming hedges, etc. Slowly, but surely, I will see a jogger, a smoker, a sad family dragging suitcases to the car....and in time, life comes full blown to Pop for the day. :)

love how jill always has them in matching outfits

She does that for the trips a lot. It does add to the pictures, I think.

So that's how you spent the morning on my last day of summer vacation! :lmao:

I am always drawn to those bracelets, too, and try them on every time we go to Disney -- haven't bought one yet, though.

Oh, man - did you have to sit through teachers' meetings that day??? I am so sorry! I was having an absolute blast, and I doubt I even stopped for one minute to say a prayer for you that day! I am a terrible DIS friend. :sad2: Next year, our trip will be over and we'll be back home before you go back to school. I have to be back and ready for church camp on the 18th, so we're going around the 1st.

I love those bracelets, but I don't wear bracelets, so I haven't gotten one yet.

What time of the day was it that you got an empty food court picture?

Very early. Probably 6 something.

Hi MeMom, just had to say that I chuckled when I saw your pharmacy pictures... It never crossed my mind to take pictures of the emergency supplies. Gosh it would kill me if I had to pay those prices for stuff I should have remembered....
POP looks like such a fun place to stay, I've heard of lots of great reviews too. I think Disney should hire you as their spokes person.:thumbsup2

The girls looked absolutely darling all dressed for the day. The orange is so cheerful!

We've had to buy things occasionally, but we are usually pretty well-stocked with our supplies.

I will be a Disney spokesperson! Anybody know how to get that job for me? :wizard:

I like the polka dots, too. They were cute and comfortable in those little short sets.

been there done that

Hopefully you live and learn.

I always enjoy your early morning pics! Love the pic of the girls-it's so cute that Jill always has them in matching outfits! I loved The Childrens Place when mine were smaller-especially for the holidays! They always had matching outfits from there! Then they became teenagers!

Yeah, I'm sure the day will come when the girls will have totally different tastes in clothing, but for now, they don't get much of a say-so. Jill chooses a few things for Brooklynn to choose from so she'll be appropriate, but she gives her plenty of freedom. She has let her go to school in some crazy stuff a couple of times, though, just because it didn't really matter, since everyone there knows them.

I too just LOVE your early morning POP! piccies - the buildings, the pool, the food court and the gift shop! I LOVE Disney hotels!!!
xxx

Me, too. I could go down there and just go to DTD and resorts and never go in a park for days.

love how jill always has them in matching outfits

I love that I have two little girls and can match their clothes. I got all their matching outfits from Target for $3 each. And while I think they are adorable dressed alike the reason was two fold. They looked cute but most importantly if Brooklynn wandered off I could just hold Isabella up and say she looks like this only taller, with blond hair and she probably hasn't stopped talking to whoever found her!

Sarah likes the Mickey Mouse and the Little Green Man from Toy Story. Maggie would prefer a Princess one, but will settle for Minnie. I better make sure I write this down...:rotfl:

Denise

Yes, you will! Is that where the whole gang (all of you guys that are meeting up) is staying?

Pretty much the majority of us are staying there! I know we are gonna have a night at Pop where the ones who arent' staying there, will come and visit! I am super excited!
I am even more excited about going to the mountains in 2 weeks! I am gonna take lots of pictures to share with everyone on the Polar Express! We love that movie so we know we will enjoy it! Getting our hot chocolate, cookies, and wearing our Christmas pajamas! Of course, my dad, Chad, and BIL said they WILL NOT wear theres. I hate to differ...because If I have my way, and I WILL;) they will wear at least a Christmas shirt! Well, I know my dad and Chad will. There is nothing I can do about the BIL..I will let my sister deal with him! :lmao:
Then the next day we get to see a Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood! That park is so nice and I am excited to show it to everyone who hasn't been there before. Only Chad and I have! :goodvibes

Ahhhh, love the walk around Pop! A perfect way to start my morning with a cup of coffee. :goodvibes

I am guessing this is your BIRTHDAY morning, correct? 4 parks, 1 birthday? I'm REALLY looking forward to this adventure!!! :yay:

And, as always, I as a few updates behind....

Anyone else care to share their fears? Maybe we can help each other get through them. We laugh about them, but they are really fears, so someone might come up with suggestions on how we can deal with them better.

LL's mention of not being able to look at My Little Ponies reminded me of a nutty fear I have.

Dolls that talk/move completely freak me out! (I am pretty certain it is related to the "Chucky" horror movies...) In Target there is a whole section of moving dolls/babies that kinda cry and they all go off at once if you walk past. If I accidentally go down that aisle, I end up screaming when they go off. Never fails.

And Joe finds it HILARIOUS, so he tries to get me down that aisle without noticing the dolls...:sad2:

As usual, I was a bit behind:

IMG_2068.jpg

I know a whole slew of people commented about how cute this picture was, but I just have to as well. Adorable! I recall her just sitting on the pony last time, so glad she got to ride this trip!!! :yay:

And, I have to ask - is it free? If not, how much is this activity?

I appreciate November, the changing season, and the idea of Thanksgiving, so it is one of my favorite times of the year. It's nice to know we'll have a little bit of a break again in a few weeks. December brings several fun activities at school, so it always goes quickly. We will have fun planning for Christmas and for our Disney trip. It will be incredible to see WDW fireworks from the beautiful Polynesian beach...along with forty thousand of our closest friends. ;) We are super-excited about getting a Kona ADR for that night!

Anyway, ignore my ramblings. I just love this time of year. I am very blessed to have my awesome family. I thank God for them and for my job and home and friends every day, but I think I do moreso this time of year. The beauty the God paints in our world at this time of year with all of the colors just makes me closer to Him and more aware of His constant presence. Even when I am busy with life and ignoring Him, He's still hanging out close to me, watching over me, and giving me this beautiful fall background at every turn.

I hope you all have a beautiful fall day with your families, too. :)

Love this MeMom. I love fall as well - for all the same reasons you listed. I wish fall hadn't come quite so quickly this year in Minnesota, as we had such a cool summer as well - but it's here, in full force - and it's a cool fall too, coats and hats required already, but at least it's still pretty! And we haven't gotten snow again since early October, so that is a relief.

Last night I was up wayyyyy too late doing December planning. I'm getting so, so, so excited! I have not put up a "DIS Meet" type thread on the DIS at all for the NYE fireworks. I started to do it last night, but realized I do not have the time to commit to the thread/planning anything/organizing if it turns into that. I don't want to put up a thread planning the meet, and then disappear off the thread! So, if you'd like to, please feel free-it would be much fun to have a mega DIS meet! Otherwise, just the crew that we know will be there works for me too! I really hope my in-laws can stay up that late and watch the fireworks with us all, they are early to bed, early to rise people. I think my Mom-in-law would really enjoy meeting you, and the girls, and enjoy the whole event! We'll see....!

Planning in Spectro, Wishes, NYE, etc. is proving difficult for me this trip! Much tweaking to the schedule is being done.

IMG_4847.jpg

Funny story: When we went to the bathroom before we left Brooklynn pulled down her blue jeans and lots of corn fell out. Brooklynn said " I have candy corn falling out of my booty!" and started dying laughing. I could here the ladies in the two stalls beside us laughing.

Everyone commented on this picture too, but again....I just have to! So stinkin' cute! I just cannot believe how quickly time has gone by and how Bella is already. Both girls are just beautiful Jill!

And holy cows....:lmao: LOVE the booty story!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have been laughing to the point of snorting if I were in that bathroom. Kids say the funniest things!

I have silly teeth as well. Henry sees them and says "Mommy's teeth!" I'm certainly glad my real teeth do not look as bad as the silly ones! Henry refuses to wear them yet, but I keep trying to convince him. Perhaps if I bribed him with chocolate...

Good for Brooklynn on being cavity free!!!!

Lucky duck! How often do you go? When we are having withdrawal seizures in March, I may send you some money to send us a little Disney fix whenever you go. I picture myself wilting away much like the witch on Wizard of Oz when I have a free week and no Disney trip.

We like to go in the slowwwww months. Usually Jan. maybe Feb., early May, late August, Sept., Nov. and early Dec. I should say just about any month except June or July :goodvibes

This year we renewed our passes in August, went twice in Sept. (this included a one day trip for my BD) Going next week and twice in Dec. (one day trip for DD's birthday) We usually only go for two nights to make long weekends. But if I can get Pop for $54 a night I'll pretty much go anytime:thumbsup2

Makes sense! Wow! $3!! Why can't I ever find the good discounts!! :confused3

Hi, sorry I've been a miss on here!

I missed you all, and the wonderful updates!

I just had the best time catching up on all your pics.
The girls are just too cute for words...;) Bella looks so grown up. Love Brooklynn's long blonde hair. It reminds me of mine as a child.

Glad to see Halloween was fun, great pics at the pumpkin patch. :thumbsup2

Lexi wasn't going to go out for Trick or treat but decided she wanted to go out with her 'new' neighbourhood friends.
She was a dark fairy....not very Disney like.....but it made her happy....

Oh, she did carry the Mickey pumpkin bucket....so that counts for something...:rotfl:

It rained here but luckily stopped for the evening. It was very windy though.

I got home from work to find one of my inflateables was submurged in the pond, still blown up but full of water. I had to go in and try to turn it to unzip it to drain the water out. I wish I had taken pics, it was very comical. Imagine a huge pumpkin half underwater....

I was just glad it wasn't my brand new Mickey pumpkin inflatable. That would have been disasterous!

**I just wanted to say I was so moved by your comments about the changing seasons and God's special touches. I sometimes forget how blessed I am to have 4 different seasons here. On my way to work today I will marvel at his fine work!

Please say a prayer for my boss and his family, he lost his father in a plane accident last week and it is always sad to loose a loved one so suddenly.

Take Care :grouphug:

Great Souvenirs ! Love the shirt Jill bought , I almost bought that myself back in May . Love all the early morning POP pictures and the detailed pictures from the gift shop ! The last picture of Brooklyn and Bella is just too cute :)

The four parks day! Hooray! I know that my kids would love POP, it is just so fun.

I know why the girls are so excited! They can't wait for all the birthday fun to begin!

I dressed my boys identically on our last trip to Disney for the same reason Jill! It made them easy to spot and was good if you had a missing kid.

I'm really late but, I love the halloween pictures. They are priceless. Isabella is getting so big and she is really starting to look like her big sister.:lovestruc
Great morning pictures. My girls love the Kookie pins too. Emily got her first nemo one in May. Since then at the WOD the pluto and goofy one came home with us. It sure is nice to write to with Disney. I like the bracelets also.
I'm sorry you won't be going for thanksgiving. I'll be thinking of you while I'm there.
Have a good day.:cheer2:

Have fun with your little guy tomorrow, and be grateful for a day out of school!!!

I had lots of fun with Kazin yesterday!!! I fed him for the first time :goodvibes Applesauce and some banana orange stuff...Looked a lot better than most baby food...And he didn't spit on me or hit the spoon or anything :rotfl: I was holding him on the couch for a couple minutes and then put him down so he could crawl around, and I sat on the floor a few feet away and he smiled(he has the cutest smile!) and crawled over and climbed into my lap

Wow Pop has a lot of emergency stuff! I bought that Chip n' Dale shirt when I was there in February :)

She would most likely be giving them a tour of WDW...
and doing it quite well. :thumbsup2

so she is a talkitive little one aww

She is a very smart little girl and asks lots of questions. She forgets nothing, so if you don't plan to follow through, don't bother to say it. ;)

Sarah likes the Mickey Mouse and the Little Green Man from Toy Story. Maggie would prefer a Princess one, but will settle for Minnie. I better make sure I write this down...

Denise

Those would be great souvenirs! I wonder if the quality is better than the ones in the packs. I love those pens because they bring me Disney happiness in faculty meetings as I am writing notes about mundane things, but they definitely aren't very good quality. They are a little weak. I may go for a kooky pen next time and see if they are better. My teachers pals would love it. :)

I would love to see Dollywood at Christmas! I am thinking maybe next year we could do Disney World in the summer and in October or November, then all go up to Dollywood and try that out during Christmas break. It'll all depend on the money, of course. Take lots of pictures of that for us!

Ahhhh, love the walk around Pop! A perfect way to start my morning with a cup of coffee. :goodvibes

That is one of the things I enjoy about being in WDW, because I will get up and walk. I don't get up and walk here, because it's not nearly as exciting.

Four Parks, One Day has begun! :goodvibes

If you don't like the dolls, you better stay away from Heather's house! Did you see her Chucky dolls? :scared1:

The horseback riding did cost money. I'm not sure - maybe ten bucks? I'll ask Jill.

Hope your in-laws can join us on NYE! :dance3: You guys are going to make fun of our southern accents, I already know! You'll leave thinking you have met real Clampett relatives!

Jill grew up rather poor, so she knows how to smell a sale from miles away. :)

Hi, sorry I've been a miss on here!

We've missed you, too. Stop working so much!

Glad you had some Halloween fun, but sorry about your pumpkin.

Prayers will go out for your boss and his family. That is certainly unexpected and sad.

Don't be a stranger. Our Canadian friends have all been too busy to DIS lately. declansdad finally had time to update on his own report and put up some good pictures.

Great Souvenirs ! Love the shirt Jill bought , I almost bought that myself back in May . Love all the early morning POP pictures and the detailed pictures from the gift shop ! The last picture of Brooklyn and Bella is just too cute

Early morning Pop is certainly nothing like all day long Pop, is it? When it comes to life, it stays alive until very late!

The four parks day! Hooray! I know that my kids would love POP, it is just so fun.

Your kids would like it. They'd like the kiddie pool and the shapes of the pools, and the gift shop has a really good toy section. I bet Hannah would like all the little stationery type stuff - pens, stickers, stampers, and notebooks and all kinds of fun little girlie stuff.

I know why the girls are so excited! They can't wait for all the birthday fun to begin!

I dressed my boys identically on our last trip to Disney for the same reason Jill! It made them easy to spot and was good if you had a missing kid.

Brooklynn knew we were on our way to have breakfast with some of her best friends! :)

Next time, you'll have to get creative as you add girl outfits into your clothing plans. :) You'll have to check out the DISign board and get some big brother, little sister iron-ons. :thumbsup2

Have a good day.

I talked to Brooklynn on the phone last night. She was coloring a picture and had gotten a balloon at Wendy's. I could hear Bella chattering in the background. I wanted to jump through the phone and smooch them both.

Since you have some, are those pens better than the ones that are like 6-8 in a pack?

Yes, send me good Thanksgiving thoughts from Disney World - pleeeeeez! I would be happy if we got another full Thanksgiving week off of school next year, because I really liked being there during that time. December is already so full of excitement, so going to Disney World in November and then still having Christmas to look forward to is a good set-up for me.

I almost bought the 2009 stuffed Mickey and Minnie while we were there, but I fought it off. I was determined to go budget, and I did. I will be thinking of them at Thanksgiving and wishing I had bought them probably. I have some from a year or two ago, though. Maybe I'll bring them home some cousins in 2010 or 2011 if we can do a family Thanksgiving again.

I had lots of fun with Kazin yesterday!!! I fed him for the first time Applesauce and some banana orange stuff...Looked a lot better than most baby food...And he didn't spit on me or hit the spoon or anything :rotfl: I was holding him on the couch for a couple minutes and then put him down so he could crawl around, and I sat on the floor a few feet away and he smiled(he has the cutest smile!) and crawled over and climbed into my lap

Wow Pop has a lot of emergency stuff! I bought that Chip n' Dale shirt when I was there in February :)

I thought about you having family fun. :goodvibes Just little things like that make life very happy.

I guess since Pop had so many guests, they had best keep things well-supplied.

You'll have to show us a picture of you wearing that shirt! :thumbsup2

******************************

Happy Friday, everyone! Have a great end of the week and a fantabulous weekend!

I am super excited to see the next breakfast pics. Also you have done O'Hana's and Cape May for Breakfast...I think we will try to do one of those next summer and would love your thoughts.... since we are Driving --- it painful to think about, we can get to any of the meals pretty easy I think.

All caught up!!

I love all the halloween pictures!!! So many adorable Dis kiddos! Brooklynn's Fall Festibal looks like it was a lot of fun!! I loved going to the halloween events when the kids were in preschool!! DS's school had an adorable parade around the school and then a party! Even the teachers dressed up!

The souvies and the walk around pop are wonderful!! There so much to see at WDW!! Even not at the theme parks!

LL's mention of not being able to look at My Little Ponies reminded me of a nutty fear I have.

I hate that aisle!!!!

I think it was $5. It wasn't anymore than that.

It's getting closer!!!!! I told MeMom that I was going to make a giant lime green Mickey head and put it on a stake so that we could stick it in the sand and any Disers on the beach could see it. That way we didn't have to maintain a thread and keep up with who all was coming.
