broadway ticket packages....

Were could i find somplace that does air-hotel broadway ticket packages???

I know packages is a bad word on the budget board but i'd like to know were to start, or at least a ceiling on budgeting.....

would like to suprise my wife for our aniversary in sept....

beast or lion king is what im looking for.. of course...

just cant find anything that is a simple site that does this.

You can try Broadway.com . It can give you an idea of prices.

I'm not sure how affordable their packages are. Living in Philly, it's not hard to go to NY for a matinee and be back home the same day. I've never stayed over in NYC.

You might try a full service travel agency. But, since this is the buget board:

1) Go to playbill.com, join and get on their mailing list. Lion King is a hot ticket, probably have to pay full price (ticketmaster). You might be able to get a special on beast or wait on line at TKS when you get to NY

2) hotel--PL is great. You should be able to get a 4* hotel for not much more than $100. Check biddingfortravel for ideas. You want midtownwest zone.

3) airfare you can fly into newark, jfk or lga.

If you can get Lion King definately do that over Beauty and the Beast. It is unbelieveable- my husband surprised me with Lion King tix for my birthday a few years ago and it was the best gift ever. I am taking my kids to Beauty + Beast this summer. I heard it is good but a lot more juvenile. Have you talked to a travel agent? That may be a good starting point.
Look for those tix right away because I think you have to buy them 6-9 mos. in advance. I doubt you will get a break on the tickets but they aren't that expensive, decent seats start around $35. Seats on the floor on the (mid) aisle are really special because the parade of animals goes right by your seats. Those are around $100 I think.

It might be cheaper to book items separately. Expedia might have a good deal on room & airline tickets. One place to look at discounted Broadway tickets is www.broadwaybox.com.

I got to see beast when it first came out at the parks.

wife hasnt seen any of them. i would like to see lion king, but shes a beast fanatic...so i think beast would go over better....

dunno..

are either of these shows still done in the parks?

a ticket. I also got RENT tickets 45.00 6th row back
it is totally legit.
best thing I ever did, saved a ton on $$ had fantastic seats
