Brit's Guide Up-dates

Hi there folks!

Just wanted to let you know that we seem to be on course for the Oct publication of the 2007 Brit's Guide. I've just heard today that the first advance copies have reached the publisher, which means the bulk orders are usually about 4 weeks behind that (on the ship from Malaysia!). Then it just depends on how quick the bookstores are in getting copies distributed and on the shelves. Late October seems a reasonable guess-timate at this stage.

As regards our other new development, the monthly Newsletter, we also wanted to ask those who have subscribed so far what they think of it and what tweaks we might make to it? It is still something of a work in progress as we work out what's useful and what isn't; what's a fun idea and what is just plain dull; and how much we can squeeze in to the current format. It is soooo fab!

OK, well I can't really think of any downsides to the newsletters. I like to read the latest news and, whilst I'm interested to read the 'official' information, I can get that from many sources, so the more personal stuff is more important to me. That and the non-Disney/non-Universal updates. I like the photos, too - they all help to bring it alive and add interest.

Did you subscribe to the Newsletter on our website (not to the thread here on the DIS)? If you did, let me know and I'll find out from our tech guy why you aren't getting them. If you didn't, try here: http://www.askdaisy.net/orlando/ The Newsletter subscription box is in the upper left corner.

We certainly eat (too well!), so we can add more restaurants to the newsletter if that's something people like. I'll make a note of it and see what I can do, starting with the next edition.

i looked at that other guide book on orlando the other day in a book shop,2007 version you know the one i must say its not a patch on yours its not very easy on the eye.i know as donkey says nobody likes a kiss *** but credit where credits due mate looking forward to the new one
