Hi there folks! I just wanted to bring a bit of news up-dating about the Brit's Guide Newsletter, as we have been revamping things (again!) recently. Hopefully, our regular subscribers shouldn't notice any significant difference, other than seeing a slightly more consistent style through the Newsletter and (hopefully) better optimisation of the photos. We are working to bring in some new interactive content in the New Year and get some more feedback from readers, but please don't hesitate to let us know what you'd like to see included in future.

Also, we are aware that some people may have subscribed and not actually received anything to date, and we are working to correct this as best we can. If anyone here has added their name on the Subscribers' list of the www.askdaisy.net/orlando website (it's in the left corner, underneath the main banner), please let us know asap (with your email address if possible) and we'll get the internet manager to look into it.

Many thanks and a Merry Christmas to all!

Simon

And a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

ps Simon, have you heard anything about a Halloween party in the MGM studios rumoured to take place from 2007?

Thanks Simon and a Very Merry Christmas to you, Susan and the family as well :goodvibes

Thanks, folks. The rumours of the new Halloween event at MGM remain just that for now - persistent rumours. There is absolutely no confirmation from Disney at all, and we probably won't know for sure until around Easter time, when the year's Halloween events start to be known. It has been suggested for some time that Disney need a competing event to Universal's Halloween Horror Nights, but I'm not convinced that they can necessarily come up with something that would compete head-on with Universal while at the same time not taking their own customers away from Mickey's Not So Scary party. It would be a difficult thing to balance and it will be very intriguing to see if Disney go that route.
