British Girl Critically Ill after Tower of Terror

According to Radio Leicester this morning the girl is now back in the UK in a Leicester hospital. She is still seriously ill, but stable.

She came back to the UK in an air ambulance. The fact that she was able to fly is a good sign.

The fact that she was allowed to fly home defiantely sounds hopeful! As the mother of a much loved 8 year old girl it breaks my heart to imagine what that poor childs family must be going through, but to be going through it 1000's of miles away from home without the love and support of friends and family just doesn't bare thinking about.

Thank you so much for the information. As I stated above I know it sounds strange but just having met the Mom I feel like I NEED to know infomation. I sort of even felt a little guilty leaving with my son as I knew she would not be able to for a very long time. I am happy to hear she is closer to home. It should make it a bit easier on the family to be "Home". It is horrible to be in the hospital and not be close to home. I couldn't use my phone and the long distance phone calls were $$ even with a phone card. The other kids were back at WDW with DH and they felt bad enjoying their vacation. while thier big brother was not there. The trips to and from were a pain as DH had to bring the kids with him and then we would "switch". It was all worth it as DS is fine. I hope that soon we can say the same about Leanne. Do you by chance or is there anyway you could possibly find the address to the hospital she is at? I would like to send a card to her Mom if possible? Thank you so much for keeping me posted . I really really appreciate it.

According to local news here, the doctors treating her said there was nothing more they could do for her and that the flight home would not worsen her condition (critical but stable). I'm sure her family wanted her home. I'm sorry to say that it doesn't sound very promising, but I'll keep praying for her.
