British Columbia DVCers -- some info I got.

I'll post this on the DVC boards as well but as an FYI I contacted DVC to see if any gains had been made to gain access to sell/promote DVC in BC and here's the response I got.

I guess it's a start! When hubby and I first joined no DVC resort was allowed to be sold in BC, please join me in crossing fingers that soon we'll have access to everything from home direct rather than having to either work with DVC while we are in the US on DVC location or through resellers.

that great news had to wait until last april to pick a few hundred points at the Gcv's as they would not even send us any info hope to pick up some at the new hawaii villas next year

Wow, just a few months after purchasing VGC points (in DL) and after two other resale purchases of BWV points a few years ago, they are now registered in BC. Just when I have all the points that I need.

Also, it's odd timing for getting registered for selling VGC, as they recently announced they are sold out of points (although I'm sure there's a few left here and there and may be mroe that get purchased back through ROFR).

Oh well, it's a great thing for others who are looking to buy as this will likely mean that any future DVC that is built will be registered for direct sale here as well.

Good news overall (just not for me personally).
