We have a 10:45am BBB appointment and I'd like to bring a dress instead of buying one there, but we're going to the park at 8am... what do I do with the dress for 2 and a half hours?? Do you stuff it in a backpack or get a locker and trek back to the gate before the appointment? Or has anyone had luck with leaving it at BBB for them to hold? Thanks!

Backpack or locker. You cannot leave it @ BBB for them to hold. See this thread too ---http://www.disboards.com/threads/drop-off-dress-early-at-bbb.1873292/

The lockers are in the front of the park so not close to BBB. We always kept ours in a bag or backpack with us. Doe she not want to wear it into the park that day?

If it's one of the Disney Store dresses, they really don't wrinkle too bad. You can even put it in a big zip loc bag and mush all the air out to save lots of room.

Ah, I hadn't thought of vacuum-bagging it, that's a great idea. I really don't want us to have to back track to the front gate, though my husband said he would gladly do it! I just have no idea how long that would take him. And I don't know if she is suppose to be in her dress before the makeover or if she can change afterwards? He likes the idea of saving the day by trying to survive the crowds of people on main street to retrieve the precious dress. LOL

I don't think we want to put her in the dress in the morning.. We have an 8am ADR at Be Our Guest, then the Mine Train, then Mad Tea Party, then we'll be in Tomorrowland until BBB. I wouldn't want to mess up the dress, its the Deluxe Cinderella one. Dining at Cinderella's Table after the makeover!

We bought a huge one from Chasing Fireflys, hoop skirt and all! We ended up bringing in a stroller that day, hung it in a bag off the stroller it helped because she had a change of clothes and took off the "dressy shoes" and threw on sneaker!

Some of the dresses can be itchy in the summer. We did the lockers. Usually our daughter wore the dress for CRT and then for a couple of hours at most after that. The hairdo would remain.

So pretty! I understand why you'd want to wait. But here's why I always had my daughter wear it in that morning. Your best photos of the day will be on the way into the park for your early ADR. Later, after she is made up will be great, but you won't have another shot at a less congested Main Street for photos. I usually put my daughter's hair in a bun and put her in her dress and did photos on the way in in front of the castle. Later in the day after BBB get shots where you can get them, but the ones on front of the castle will be far more congested.

Something that worked great for us is having her wear it over shorts and a camisole or white tank. Then she can take it on or off whenever she wants without much fanfare.

We just gently folded ours up in our carry on, then put it in a backpack for the day of BBB. It actually didn't get too wrinkly which I was happy about!

LOVE THIS IDEA! You're totally right.. I was already planning on utilizing our early ADR for good pictures in front of the castle.. I can't believe I didn't think to have her wear her dress for this in the morning. You are so right, thank you! Then maybe she can change to her shorts and tank top at Be Our Guest! Then I'll do the plastic bag/air squish trick. This could work!

How pretty!!! I have never heard of Chasing Fireflies and just looked them up.. WOW! My eyes got all teary looking at some of these! Especially that Cinderella one! Looks so much like the one in the live action film, my favorite movie of all time. Guess I have to buy all of them now LOL
