We are now under 2 weeks . Can you believe two weeks for today we will be at Disney . I am still trying to take some deep breaths. I have got to make Dale decide what he wants to take so I can get some of his stuff packed. MEN .

I just found this pre-Trippie... Haven't read it all yet, but what a great start! I can't believe I didn't find it sooner. My MommaBear and I will be going down from 9/26-10/2, staying at POFQ.

Lets hope the weather stays great and the crowds are minimal. Here's to enjoying the F&W Festival.

OMG We're down to TWELVE DAYS!!!!



I really think we have everything good to go. Went and bought mini umbrellas the other day so i can check that off the list. Forgot to grab the camping chair from dads but I'm sure I'll be back there before I leave! Other than that I just have to do online check-in and print out allllll the crap I've typed up!

Maybe I'll print out stuff now since I'm sitting here at work.

Since we're so close and I'm trying to pass the time away without losing my mind...I figured I'd post on here the attraction lists I made park by park. I wrote down what we want to do and what we definitely don't want to do. Why? Cause I was bored. Obviously I could have easily remembered all this in my head and just looked at a park map when we're there but um... bah!

So here's our Magic Kingdom ToDo and NotToDo List:

o Tiki Room (cause mom enjoys suffering through it!)

o Hall of Presidents (can't wait to see the refurb!)
o Haunted Mansion (b/c we're foolish mortals)
o Small World (mom likes it... debating bringing my ipod )
o Peter Pan (didnt get to go on last trip b/c of long lines)
o Snow White (always loved... somewhat reminds me of Toad)
o PhilharMagic (best 3D movie at Disney!)
o Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (missed this last time too)

And since we're talking about the Magic Kingdom... I'm going to post my favorites from my trips when I was a kid! I have all my photos from 1980-1990 scanned. It's hilarious looking back at all these photos! Take a look at all the differences over the years!

SO FUN!!! I love the flashbacks!!! I must say, some of the characters are MUCH cuter now (er, Pooh, Hook, that pig)! I need to find the pics (I was 2) from my first trip at my mom's house sometime. You've inspired me!

As far as the lists go, way to go! Yeah, we're a no-go for all of the spinny rides too. We just can't handle them. Oh well...there's plenty else

I can't wait to see the other updates with flashbacks!!

The wait for Peter Pan was quite short when we rode, so hopefully you won't have much trouble.

I don't think I could go a trip without doing Splash and Thunder, especially Splash. My sister and I rode them during EMH (Hailey is like 39.8 inches tall and couldn't ride). Space Mountain is another must-do when it's open (and pics are coming of the interior on the TTA). There wasn't a whole lot to see, though. Most of the viewing area was blocked by construction walls.

There was no interest in my family to go see the refurbed Hall of Presidents. If I remember right, the last time we went resulted in a lot of napping. I was interested to see what they've done to the place.

What were they thinking with those Pooh and Hook costumes? Did they think no one would recognize Pooh without a honey pot?

My dad had a similarly huge video camera. In 1991 (or so), he recorded 10-15 minutes of the floor of the backlot tour tram because he forgot to stop recording.

Space and Splash are my two favorites. If Space was open, I would hands down park mom on a bench and run on the ride Splash I most likely will do the same but we'll see. I just keep telling myself that I'll be there again in 3 months (omg!) so I won't have to wait long to ride, ya know?

The costumes are CRAZY! I can't believe how much some of them have changed!

I'm sure mom will fall asleep during Hall of Presidents but the past two trips I've gotten really into it. I think I've just started paying more attention to politics, etc so this stuff is really interesting to me. NEVER would have thought I'd say that!

Thank you! Aww... maybe one day some photos would turn up! My mom has been so diligent with taking and storing our photos that it's been pretty easy. I know hardly anyone else is as nuts as she is about photos.

I hope we can do everything on the list as well. Last time with her we didn't do a lot in Fantasyland because of the lines. But we did get to do everything else. Only thing that might get in the way are our ADRs but we'll totally welcome the air condition and just do what we can!

I know you must be getting so excited. Me and the girls always go down, every Sept, except this one. I miss being down there this time of the year. The crowds are so low. We are going next month though, want to be there for Halloween. You're going to have a great time!!!
