Oh I'm so sorry about your camera strap from ebay. That's horrible that he would do that. You're so nice giving him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't do that on purpose, I wouldn't have been that nice! Cute camera! Ooo you're getting so much done on your list! Your trip is so close now!!

Yeah...I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose but oh well. What can I do, right? Little by little making my way through my ToDo list...woohooo!

Glad you got work off...as a teacher the first thing I did upon returning was filling out my leave form and finding a sub both were done YAY...I'm very excited about all of that!!!

thank you! Hopefully it's a decent camera for mom. I did my research and read a lot reviews but you never really know until you get it in your hand. I totally know what you have to go through to get time off! A bunch of my friends are teachers and they HATE trying to take vacations! It's such a hassle

I have decided to use them for our Hidden Mickey contest. Every day the girls will be looking for hidden mickeys. When they find one, they will get a mini moo. Hey guys! Quick update here on my todo list. Slowly but surely getting through it and I'm almost done!

Here are some cameraphone photos of my camera strap and moos. Still don't have my macbook back though I'm hoping they call me today to pick it up!

I'm really happy with how the moos came out!

And here's my todo list!


To Do
- buy mom camera (with mem card and pouch) - done
- buy moos - done
- buy camera strap - done
- preorder photopass cd - done
- buy new purse - done
- download Lou Mongello's Fantasyland album - done
- request time off work - done
- buy new phone battery - Done
- get laptop fixed at apple store - done
- look to see if still have old lime green Mickey heads from 2 years ago - done (and we have a ton! now just have to figure out what to do with them)
- make sure someone can take our mail in for us - mom asking neighbor
- download more music and upload to ipod - slowly working on this - done
- make tip envelopes for mousekeeping - debating on doing
- go to Harmons and buy travel sized items - went to Target and the one by me has a crapppppy travel aisle!
- figure out how to carry/store tripod (old camping chair bag?)
- get singles from bank for mousekeeping tips - will do this with last paycheck before trip
- print out boarding passes

Call me crazy but I don't make tip envelopes. I just write a note with the pad that's in the room and put the money under it.

I don't see myself taking my tripod everywhere. In fact I'll probably only take it a couple of nights, so I'm not really worried about how to carry it; I'll just hold it and if that gets aggravating I'll put it under the stroller. Camping chair bag might work though. Or you could just tie one strap from a messenger bag or something to both ends.

My flight info didn't print on my ME packet either. We're not checking any luggage for the trip there, so I'm not too worried about that.

Congrats on getting married! JK - the last time we went to WDW, they had me listed as Master on the reservation. So not only was I the wrong gender, but I was underage as well. I do think they only have one address for us in the system, as opposed to the address for my second cousin once removed who went to WDW in 1982.

Oh - and I love the camera strap. I'm glad you were able to get a replacement.

Thanks Scott! Yeah, I don't think I'm going to make tip envelopes either this trip. I did a few years ago and they were cute and all but this year i can't find ones that stand out to me and aren't that much work!

I'm going to get the camping chairs that I left at my dads house this weekend and see if one of the smaller bags fits the tripod. Just think it'll be easier then carrying it without anything, even if it is only for a few hours!

Guess it's time for an update

I had tried to update earlier and found out that my report had been sent to the Completed section! EEK! A quick PM to the mods though cleared it all up.

I finally remembered to book the car service this morning for the ride to the airport. Thanks to MyMuse on here, she recommended a company that she uses and so far they were really easy to deal with! Only downfall is that they're coming to pick us up at 5am Blah! Early flights suck but then we get to Disney early..yay! I'm just hoping mom doesn't crash early and need sleep when we get there. We have an easy day though that day. Going to check in, relax for a little bit, then head over on the bus to the MK. Not even sure if we're going to go in or just head to the GF for Tea. It depends on the time. I just have to run into MK to activate my park pass so that I can upgrade to the annual pass right away. Then after Tea maybe we'll resort hop for a bit and then dinner at Citricos at 6:30. After dinner I'm sure we'll be tired so we'll either head back or wait until Wishes from the beach at 9. I'm thinking we'll be tired though.

Hey hey! The Lou Mongello's Audio Guides to WDW are either a CD you can purchase or mp3 downloads you can buy (for your ipod, etc) and he goes into detailed history and descriptions of individual lands of the Magic Kingdom. So far he's only created Main St, Adventureland, and Fantasyland and I love them. Main St is one file if I remember correctly and he starts from the very beginning and if you listen to it when you're there, he points out things along the way. The Adventureland and Fantasyland Guides have individual files for each ride, etc.
