Barcelona Fountain Meet - faireygod mother was on about this but not sure where this is up to. P 169 Post 2534The fountains start at 830. We need to figure out how many are early dining and how many are late dining. We may need to break up into 2 groups.

Tenerife Dolphin Watching - faireygod mother was trying to get a group together for this. P 123 Post 1840Cancel this idea, they would not respond to any of mine or Ellen's emails.

I do not know what these look like, but it almost sounds like the Tag game, where you leave a small gift (usually somthing from your area).

This thread had all but lost its drive as we greived the loss of several members. Now we have so many new folks joing us that it has brought life to this thread. I would say that there is caffine driving some of this life. Even thought I do not drink the stuff myself, I say...bring on another cup and lets get planning

Here is a link to see what the lanyard look like. They will print on both sides and they are 3/4 inch wide. WE might even get Disney Font. Awaiting an answer. This company does not seem to have a character limit. They are more expensive than the company that limits charcters. These are 2.02 each. Do we also want to purchase card holders?

Now lets decide on whaat we want it to say so that the tshirts can match.

Hi,
We sailed on the eastbound repo. When we were in Tenerife we found a great looking lido with lots of pools and sun loungers. Sadly it was too late for us to visit as we didn't have our swimming gear with us. Pity no mention was made of it on the ship as we would have headed straight there. It's about a 30 minute walk from the ship and is located close by the Auditorium which looks like a large circus tent. One word of warning being Tenerife they do allow "European style" sunbathing. I did take a photo but it really doesn't due it justice.

I'm so glad everyone is joining in and getting excited about making this fun! I had another idea that I read on another thread. If it is too much, please say.

They were talking about having a Disney Tie night where even the women wear Disney Ties. We could have our pictures taken together. I know they had a jammie beakfast with pictures on the EB, but I snoozed through that. The time changes and dancing all nught just got too me after awhile, so I'm not promoting that, but just saying it's been done.

Also, there was a HUGE group picture taken on pirate night. I think we met in the atrium at 7:30 or 7:45. The ship photographer was there. I actually bought that one. We looked great! I'd be willing to remind people of this and set up the photographer if anyone wants to do this. Caution, dinner for first seating ran slow that night and a few hadn't had dessert before the picture, but I do know youcan go back, and if you are time crunched, they give it to you to go.


I'm seriously not tryig to "relive" a past experience, because that is impossible, and we can do new and fun things (like extender contest and maybe tie night) that will make our cruise unique. I am just suggesting things in case they sound fun to someone.

Where you have lunch on the Teneriff, Tiede and Gardens tour views a swimming pool--verynice swimming pool, and we were being silly Americans giggling at the topless women, some as shapely (read middle-aged pudgy) as me! I guess it was like a floor show for us!

The Lido sounds great!

Does anyone know if getting to a beach in Tenerife is easy enough to do it on your own? Matthew and I wanted to go to the beach, but with Noah with us, we didn't want to do the excursion with Disney in case we needed to get back to the ship earlier.
Any sugestions, or info on how to go about this would be very helpful!

Deanna, My husband, Carl, is telling everyone here at home about the topless girls at lunch that day in Tenerife. That is what stuck in his mind. I personally thought the "chicken" was pretty good. You'd think he had never seen topless before. It was a good excursion! So nice to have memories - envious of you getting to do it again. I know you'll have a ball. I have a big favor to ask - well 2 but I'll just start with one right now. Can I send you money to buy me a silver charm on board the Magic in case they get their act together and come up with a "med charm". They had one for the Panama Canal Crossing. They kept thinking they would have some when they unpacked everything but I think someone dropped the ball and just didn't order any. I asked at least once each day. So if they do have them I'd love to have one for my bracelet. Erik would love to be there for the tie contest.

Late dining is FULL? I don't think I've ever seen early available and late not!

On the East Bound Panama Canal it was the same thing. We only booked that cruise about 3 weeks prior to sailing and requested late seating. We ended up with early seating because late was full at the time. When we got onboard we went to the designated place to change dinner times/tables to ask for a table for 2. They told us they could only give us a table for 2 at the late seating, which was perfect for us!

So you can always try to get a switch once you're onboard.
